Yay~ Thanks Kairyu and naz!

Everyone feel free to add me and PM so I can add back! =D

I was playing early and kept getting kicked off Wi-fi, but reading earlier in the thread I'm glad it wasn't just me. That would also explain my puzzling over why I could barely find any players for random brawling too. It is quite awesome how there was virtually no lag online and hopefully that'll keep up.

For the record, I hate the Ice Climbers, and prefer to use Lucas XD Feel free to intrude on my hosted games if you see me online after adding me!

Oh no, I knew that much about spectator mode. I did manage to get some brawls with online brawlers, although the Ike pretty much owned me.

As in most other games I seem to like doing things that most people don't really care about. I sort of wish we had a screenshot contest or something. I would love to see what kinds of crazy snapshots GFFers take :3

Still up in 30 minutes, BigCN401? I'll be on then.

How the hell do you even switch Pokemon as the trainer? Unless you can't switch them in SSE mode, I'm finding myself unable to switch em up.
lol sprout it's just d+B! I couldn't switch out of Squirtle in SSE either.
I also agree with taking time unlocking characters! I want to savour the adventure and simply don't have enough consecutive hours available to invest.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Summon, how in the world did you Self-Destruct last minute in that battle?
It was the Landmaster's fault I make a lot of silly mistakes all the time, which is fatal for my poor Lucas ;_;
Haha, I should consider using the Nunchuck, but the Wiimote is so convenient~

Haha, I thought you were playing with me there because you just kept Pikmin calling at the start of SD which led to a Din's Fire explosion. :3
A couple of the those matches I got some voicemail I had to check which would explain my inactivity and distraction. I think I got that Smash ball a bit too much with PK Thunder. Might as well though, since even after I get it, PK Starstorm would be free hits on me on the larger stages.

Hmm, lag will probably hit me one day soon, so far I haven't experienced any debilitating lag except for once with another person who is confirmed to have router issues. The matches I had with BigCN seemed fine to me. A couple of test rounds with my friends said that it was laggy on their side when we played, but it really wasn't on my side. They're looking into port forwarding and stuff in order to apparently decrease the lag.

Silly questions, but do people's names change when you've both added each other? I'm leafing through my list not remembering who's who for some people now.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

All right I've added everybody in the wiki and those who have posted but haven't been included in the wiki at this point! Fortunately we don't have 64 GFFers yet I'll wait a while to see which ones clear as mutual registrations then PM everyone who is still "awaiting".

Ah shoot I missed Totakeke Slider tonight, since my friends would keep picking the strange stages :x I've also been lazy in adding FCs, although I wrote down everyone's I didn't add yet during my break yesterday and will add them in either a couple of minutes or tomorrow.

I've noticed that some of the connection circle colours I have previously had for people have changed. A red connection has become a better orange one, and vice versa with other colours included. I assume that the connection indicator is not static then, hopefully connection quality isn't always the same, otherwise I'd have to delete people

I'm really liking some of these clever snapshots you guys posted. Wolf's "moon bread", SnakeXZSS, and immp's Pikmin Parade are my favourite ones so far.

On that note, do you need to be Wii Friends too in order to send/receive pics to each other? I noticed I can only send snapshots to a small amount of people, most likely the ones who were registered as Wii friends with me already. I'd like to receive as much funny snapshots as I can get ^_^

You're telling me! Game and Watch wouldn't even have a neat clan grouping unless you stick him with Dedede, Wario and Kirby for clan -gluttony-
I'd love to be the Zelda of a Zelda/Sheik/Link/Ganondorf quartet, although now that I think about it, I'm probably more interested in the thematic aspect of clans rather than the competitive side :3

Team Flip... sup SM, Chaotic.
Yeaaaa I'm down for that!

New Pork City would be fine... if the camera didn't suck so much. Thus, still no.
None of the autoscroll stages (Jungle Japes (Brawl), Mushroomy Kingdom).
I'm against the 8-bit stages Mario Bros and 75m.
Everything else is pretty much fine, with no other glaring issues at the moment.

We should just avoid every match ending up on Final Destination, because as the issue has been raised across previous incarnations and JUS, as fair as a perfectly flat stage without platforms seems, that in itself holds a hidden disadvantage.

Regarding tripping, just sometimes. I'll express my disbelief when I dash at the opponent for a certain-hit dash attack when my character will clumsily fall and screw it up. Then again, I've gotten the golden squeaky hammer twice, so I chalk it up to "it's part of what happens in this kind of game."

As for screenshot of the week, which markedly less people seem to be currently interested in, I hope we have a weekly cap on the submissions (1 or 2?). I know I already have a small collection, while Freelance Wolf appears to have amassed a storehouse already from earlier posts such as the one with Moon Bread.

Perhaps we could change up themes every week once in a while too. Obviously we won't get tired of the usual funny things you can do in screenshots, but it'd also be neat to have points for style, hard-to-do things, or just cool things in general.
eg. Most clever use of hammers (not just Ice Climbers, Dedede, and Kirby)

As for Cruel Brawl, I have 7 with Lucas since they can't steal your PK Thunder, and it lures them off to the edge area. Problem is I only die due to a combination of an eventual misaiming and nervousness. The Zelda and Kirby frames are the most threatening with their air kick and rapid punch damage rackup/standstill, respectively.

Gah, my friend and I tried tried coop home run contest for fun today. Twin blasters with fox and twin Yoshi dAir didn't work as well as a combination of the two, which only netted us 2600ish meters at best. I'm curious as to if anyone has been able to get insane scores close to the world record like in that Ganondorf and Ice Climbers video!

After tediously going through classic mode with more characters, I decided to go into snapshot procurement mode and explore some of the other modes that many never usually check out. Fighting Giant Falco who grabbed a mega mushroom was as equally amusing as hearing mouse-like squeaks from tiny melee-ers with bunny hoods, grabbing poison mushrooms in light gravity! I sort of which you could do the special brawl online as well, that'd be randomly crazy and awesome at the same time.

Anyone else interested in daily screenshot exchanging? I'm really only bugging IC and Kairyu at this point whenever I snap some, although I'd love to receive more from others!

;___; more of you bastards need to confirm me than just IC.

Oh, and I make another vote for a fun faggotry-less tourney thread . . . the only limit? No Final Destination allowed. I don't care if someone hates a big stage. They might be annoying, but they're still fun.

Maybe have some rounds where you're forced to choose random characters.
Exactly! I got some PMs back but for those that didn't, I'm still awaiting registration. Everyone that PM'ed back now appears on my list.

I like the whole random idea too. You can't blame anything except for bad luck or insufficient practicing, or most likely sour grapes if you don't get something workable out of the roulette. That's exactly the kind of fun thing that all involved should be able to enjoy. If you don't like "random" anything, then just don't take part!

Haha awesome games sprout and Tem! Lots of lol deaths and some were pretty close. When BigCN's brother joined I thought we'd have massive lag, but it wasn't crippling on my end after a little while. Unfortunately, I still get massive lag against IC all throughout, and with some people for about the first 10 seconds or so.

Is there anyway to avoid fan smacks once you get caught in them? I always thought that it was the cpu being stupid but I couldn't roll or struggle out in any direction once I got stuck in a barrage.

Thought you called it quits both times . Poor Tem, peach blossom -> golf club blunt force trauma
I don't know, as that also happens to me sometimes with other people when I try to join their room. I can't tell if they were kicking me out or if those were random disconect occurrences (I wasn't kicking you out though ) Torrents off, I guess 8-]

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The FC Awaiting Registration thing is still puzzling me. I finally got a match with Sparhawke who must have added me a while ago, but it didn't appear that he registered me until he tried to join my room. I thought this suggested that it's acknowledged when you and the other person are online together for the first time, but apparently that's not necessarily true in the case of most other FCs.

I've gotten the "you are no longer on the FC list" error for:
- Max Biggs
- Miles
I'd rather someone tell me that they haven't added me or chose to delete me instead of finding out at the point of connection :/

As per the thread topic, fun matches with Spar, chato, Wolf and CN! I won't give up on G&W, changing to him as main of choice instead of the now common Lucas.

How ya doing, buddy?

My connection likes to randomly drop me apparently, but really fun matches with Lukage and Max Biggs! It appears that MB is also one of those scary proficient players, but unlike IC I feel like I have a chance at winning You're now my unofficial sparring rival against your will

Since I didn't see Lukage on until just now, I guess I won't delete all those FCs in the wiki that are pretending to be "awaiting registration". I have only 4 slots left for GFFers now, so as usual, please PM if I won't have a spot on your list, so that I can clear space.

I resort to good old MSN for typing in between matches. I haven't yet been spoiled by voice chat or any fancy things like that yet, save for DS stuff. Not like I have a microphone anyways, and even if I did, I'd have my PS3 on simultaneously or something to use it.

All right, did another standard "Added everyone on the wiki" thing, although I'm at capacity now. If you still have "Awaiting Registration" from me, then please PM!

No one's ever online :/ I leave it on for hours and the list remains unchanged! You'd think with thi many people, someone would coincide times.

No clue what causes the system lock-ups. A friend of mine has to go back to the Wii Menu after a match freezes for him, but I just get thrown back to the game's main menu, and sometimes the Wi-Fi menu.
Same case for me. It seems different each time depending on the error I get. I can't see to connect to Miles' games, so I don't know what's happening there. The other participants don't even show up as "brawling". Strangely, every once in while, I just get disconnected from the other players when I do get into a game periodically. No more complaining, I'll just take what I can get

In accordance with the title, funny funny matchs with Wolf. No one seems to realize yet that they shouldn't roll into Diddy's bananas back and forth repeatedly XD

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah, playing with my friends who lives in the same city works out to still really laggy, but playing with people from different cities usually turns out not be as much or not to be at all. It's a funny funny online system dependent on more than location.

I am getting frustrated in Boss Battles mode currently. Still at 9 on Very Hard with Lucas, tactics of d+A spam for <10 seconds for ground-based enemies and 2/3 PK Thunder cycles for aerial enemies. I've tried spam tactics with several other characters since Squall Hammer with Ice Climbers, aerial chains with Ness and an aerial focused Peach all seem to produce great results. My problem appears to be falling for instant death attacks like Meta Ridley's ship thump or being grasped by Tabuu's golden pincers. When it's not that, it's usually Duon or Porky whenever I miss my chance to 0% them. I also make silly mistakes like getting taking a hit from Petey Piranha or not keeping a pure distance game with Porky.

Tips that have worked for others?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
