Nooo~
I'll be fine with purchasing KSS for replay on VC whenever they decide to rerelease it, but I don't think I need the same thing but on the go as well. However, I might be fooled easily if they (re)added one or two new powers like UFO (!) and Ball as an incentive. A really neat but highly implausible idea would be wifi coop for the Great Cave Offensive. Maybe they could utilize a system where you search for players who have saved at the same spot as you, but the games will keep track of who has what treasure in their inventory. However if there is any wifi at all, I bet it would merely be delegated to Gourmet Race, Samurai Kirby, and Megaton Punch :/ Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I can't believe no one seems to have this now that it's out! Although Backloggery seems to indicate otherwise...
I managed to get 98% on the day that I bought it, but the last 2% is quite hard to attain, preventing it from being "completed". The True Arena (particularly because of Masked Dedede and Galacta Knight) is kicking my ass. Five non-Maxim Tomatoes, only 1 ability in between fights and jacked up bosses surprisingly ramp up the difficulty. I've only ever managed to get to Marx Soul once, then got upset since I foolishly got sucked into a black hole, which wiped out 50% health upon contact :/ I was bit disappointed to see that "Revenge of the King" is pretty much a creepier modified version of Spring Breeze. Helper Arena is pretty cool though, since I've never been on the 2p end of things back in the day. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Ah so some of those bosses are from the GBA iterations then. from other games then. I only remember the clock boss being the very first one. The elephant is really really cute though.
I finally beat the True Arena 15 minutes ago, despite trying for hours last night. My tactic involved Jet's invincibility frames and dashing through to take no damage from Masked Dedede and take a lot less from Galacta Knight, then getting lucky with the hammer ability popping up before Marx Soul. Throw in some helper spawn and respawn and the agony has finally ended. The reward for the task of 100% is also very cute and funny too! Now I think I'll sell this game while it's still almost brand-new, since I'll never need to replay it. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
