Axel...*coughs, looks left and up* of course. Trance No. 4 scores major points with me anyways like a garbage phoenix. Then again this is intended for D1 and not D2 >.>
1) It only matters really if you're going for the combo multiplier to damage (eg. boss battles). If the battle is simple enough, I just execute after each command. 2) Use the Mr. Gency's Exit, as you've figured out. 3) If you can handle it. Just don't get too crazy. The monsters stats accumulating is what the problem is. You might be able to handle three zombies no problem, but together, the defense/res might exceed your highest spellcaster's/attacker's mag and atk stats, respectively. Even relying on Braveheart or Magic boost might not even be enough to exceed the number. Speed also becomes a problem because you'll need a high hit in addition to a high enough atk/mag. The best part is that when the levels add up, the monsters gain powerful attacks. A mere two level 25 (or so) Prinnies will combine for level 50, and gain Pringer Beam or something, which will mass kill your units surrounding it. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Promotions affect the bills you can pass and the amount of influence. You can't open the gate to Prinny Land with a Rank 1 character. Raise Military Funds is a bill that doesn't work like 99% of the time, and even if you do get it to work by bribing them blind, it's a terrible, terrible amount of Hl you could just get from like a 1/100 of a single battle. Item world's good for more items and levelling characters and skills. It's not worth it to level up weak weapons, but it's a godsend if you don't have the patience to buy weapons and pass the more powerful items bill. Your favourite Skewer at max level will be totally outclassed by the Gae Bolg. You can also steal for stuff instead of buying. Hoggmeiser starts to suck. He's decent for spread coverage if you're patient enough to get Darkness Slash, but that time is better spent helping your mages get at least a 5 square range of effect on each spell. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Stored levels have to do with transmigration should you choose restart your characters from level 1 for higher base stats which leads to higher stat growth at each level up. eg. transmigrate for the first time at say, level 99 and you'll have 99 stored levels. Transmigrate for the second time at level 132 and you'll have 231 stored levels. Right?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Ack! What a waste of my time with my characters :s Then again, I wanted to upgrade to the best classes for base stats and weapon mastery and get the bonus points if anything, rather than the blue points. Even though Majins are the best, I like cool titles like Freischutz and Eternal Fist.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Well here's what one guy achieved, so I guess something in that ballpark. Although I don't know how much of a difference 300 levels makes in the higher range, you can certainly tell already that those numbers are far higher than anything you'll ever see with casual play. You won't reach that anytime soon without statisticians and map formation abuse.
How ya doing, buddy? |
Of course once Laharl hit level 1000, I passed every rule I wanted to with reckless disregard. A single sword swipe and 3 counters taught those senators who had the power >=) How ya doing, buddy? |
Well make sure you are most certainly prepared if you're just going to try and solo Laharl before beating the game. It's not that easy unless you can kill everything with one hit. The maps get terribly nasty and you'll need to make use of throwing to cut down on the nasty. (eg. Enemy Boost X6 for almost every square, enemy mages sniping you off, etc.) The highest level in the story mode for an enemy without stronger enemies should be the last boss at like level 99. The stats are like 2000 at the highest, even for the lackeys, so if your hit and attack are in gross excess of 2000, then you're homefree.
