Coincidentally I watched this show because my mom taped it as well! I guess I should watch Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm then, because I like this kind of storytelling.
I actually liked this. It's great that they can poke fun at a serious subject but not be too off the wall and corny about it. I mean the mom, if it happened in real life, would obviously very distraught but everyone else is basically like "whatever". She even threw in the line "...and some great sex!" which made me chuckle even though that moment would have traditionally been serious. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
