I don't know if this counts directly, but I remember hearing this pretty neat song at my friend's birthday party last month. I paid closer attention and then instantly realized: "Oh my! This sounds a lot like Dark World from the SNES Zelda but a little different!" He then said it was from OCRemix, which I hadn't visited in ages. I had thought it was some kind of mainstream instrumental at first listen.
So I guess that's more like a case of "vgm remixes can be good too", more than "vgm can be good too." Jam it back in, in the dark. |
