Now I know exactly what Chappelle was talking about. The quality and creativity of the skits were simply not there.
It didn't help that nearly all the sketches were extremely outdated too. This episode was not funny. Every sketch felt rushed and incomplete. This entire episode reminds me of episode 11 in Season 2, where Chappelle went over all the unfinished sketches that didn't air. In the case of that episode, however, the skits were actually funny. The commentary provided by the Chappelle made them funnier than they actually were as well. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
