i am trying not to be an ass but why exactly are you feeling sad if you only knew he was a cool guy? I mean, i am a cool guy but if i died tomorrow i know someone from school (excluding friends who know me) wouldn't be sad because they know that if you get depressted from the death of someone you only know barely anything of then you would be depressted alot (but that is because i live in one of those areas i guess). Sorry for the loss and try not to let this take the better of you. Just be happy that he is not stuck on this earth and/or lying in pain at the hospital with a fatal injury that would cause him to want to take his own life.
