My first driving experience is nothing really special, driving around in a parking lot by the ocean.
However, I do have an interesting story about driving, it happened earlier today actually.
There are these tunnels I drive through every day, they take me through the mountain range that separates the island of 'Oahu in half (I live in Hawaii). Anyway, I was eating a mint. Not a particularly good mint. In fact, these mints are so weak that half way through, they pretty much lose all flavor, so I usually just chuck them out the window.
As I'm driving through the tunnel, I roll down the window and proceed to flick said mint off my finger. It sticks, and I keep trying to get it off. Suddenly, there's a thump, and my car is tilting. I had accidentally driven up onto the sidewalk/walkway that runs through the tunnel. I turn the car back onto the road and manage not to crash into anything else, but it was amazingly scary. I'm sure the driver behind me thought I was on ice or something.
Anyway, yeah. This is especially embarrassing because while I've been driving since I was 15 and a half, although I only recently got around to getting my actual license (I just turned 20 last month).
Jam it back in, in the dark.
