2 channel recording

So, I'm doing some digital recording tomorrow. I'm recording my HS concert. We are using 2 mics that come to the tapedeck which we usually use.
Instead of using the tapedeck to record, however, I'm going to connect the outputs from the deck (via RCA) to my computer (via Stereo to RCA Y cable). So far, everything is in 2 channels.
However, I don't really know if my integrated sound card is 2 channels (my computer is a year or 2 old from dell (dimension)).
How do you know?

PS.) I ran a AIDA32 diagnostics test and found out that my card is "Intel 82801DB(M) ICH4(-M) - AC'97 Audio Controller [A-1] PCI"

Jam it back in, in the dark.
