Yeah, because slapping the fans who voted for him in the face, that's a great idea.
(No doubt most people who voted for him did so for the same reason people voted for Schwarzenegger, though.)

This whole thing was fun and all - proving it can be done. But it would be best for everyone if he just declines to participate, since, you know, he so obviously doesn't belong there. It doesn't mean he can't still be thankful to any true fans he has out there for the support shown.

Ah, so that's how it works, eh. I thought he would still be in, only not in the starting line-up. So that takes care of that problem then I guess.

The LA Kings have both of their goalies so they had to recall their 2004 draft pick Yutaka Fukufuji.
Hah, gotta love japanese hockey. I remember in the World Cup a few years back there was a japanese player who actually mistook his own goal for the opponents goal and shot the puck in behind his own goalie!

Is this the first asian (read: japanese) player to play in the NHL, then?

Perhaps even the first drafted player?

There's nowhere I can't reach.
