Possible Harddrive Dying

Hello everyone.

The last few days my harddrive has been acting up. After a BSoD, then my comp gives me Disk Error then asks me to restart.. I checked all the usualy thing, the RAM, and ran Hijackthis, Adware, AVG full scan on Safe Mode and found nothing.

I read up on some stuff on Dying HDD and the inability to load the Windows Master Files. I want your guy's opinion on this, to make sure it is a dying harddrive. I apoligize in advance if I provided too little detail. Thanks again for the help.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It's a Western Digital. Size is 140gb.

Running the diagnostics as we speak. Will post results.

On another note: I've had this HDD for about 3 or so years now. and I heard WD HDD's dont last very long..

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Seems good.. but I still don't trust that results.. I'mma backup everything just in case.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
