Well his facial expressions looked impressive. I think this'll particularly be benefitial in RPGs...unless it's something that only EA has been able to tap into. Urgh and the EA game video montage needs to end.

Wait so what the hell was that??? So it does what Wii's remotes do? It has a gyroscope sensor in it?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah it only controls leaning because that's probebly all they could have done between the time Nintendo unveiled the Wiimote and now!

Because it IS. The only reason it's not completely the same is probebly because that's all they could have done between the time Nintendo showed the remote and now!

500-600$? Yeah, sure Sony. OK. You just fucked yourself over.

Sony just crippled itself. I highly doubt most people will shell out 600 bucks for a gaming console.

I just hope their hype + tacked on Wii rip off, won't hurt Nintendo cause they seem to be genuinly exploring all this 4D movement unlike Sony's after-thought like approach to it.

The Wario Ware Twisted motion sensing capabilities on GBA are more advanced than this, this is funny shit.

SIX DEGREES OF MOVEMENT

I just hope people will be able to see through it. Because if they don't, it'll derail what can be an amazing new implication on gaming that Nintendo's cooking up...

The only reason they were vague about it is because it's probebly super limited as you suspected.

Woop dee doo. I'm pretty sure people will buy the PS3 for the games and the graphics. I really doubt that most will care about this new feature.

You guys really do bitch too much. It's a fucking videogame system. Why are you taking this shit so seriously? So, you think that the Wii has a better controller, wonderful. No need to whine and moan about the PS3.
I don't think you understand what I'm getting at. Sony's crappy controler can ruin what Wii's trying to do. Thus deny us a brand new gaming experience.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

If the feature itself is as good and as fleshed out as Wii's then I wouldn't care. But as of now, it just seems like a cheap, cheap, quickly put together, inferior shot at Nintendo.

Quote:
Sony ripped them off by having a motion sensing controller? How so? Motion sensing controllers have been around on the PC for ages. They all suck as the learning curve for them is ridiculous. The controllers are not even remotely alike. Nintendo has their own design and way of doing things. Sony just added some axis control to their design. Neither of these controllers will be anything alike.
Yes but Nintendo's the first company to bring the feature into mainstream console gaming and make it worth the effort. It's just too peculiar that suddenly, Sony implements this feature now.

Oh right, cause TV manufacturers, sans Sony, are in direct competition with Nintendo and offer products for the same exact use. =/

Who are you kidding, the Nintendo Remote will come with channel and option buttons. Nintendo trying to cut into other peoples markets since they can't get their own right.

IDEA THEFT OMG
Um, Nintendo's stated time and time again that their consoles are for gaming only. Even in the unlikely event that Wii's remote will function as a universal remote as well, (I don't know where the hell you got that from) it still barely taps into TV manufacturer's main offering. TVs!
