I honestly don't know anymore. Maybe if Nintendo prices Wii REALLY aggressively (like $150 or something) and Sony gets A LOT of backlash, they might cut it a bit. Who knows though. I thought PSP's price would have been sliced by now, but all we got so far is just a package with less stuff in it. Tough call. There's nowhere I can't reach.

![]() I'm not suggesting that the PS3's the next nGage. My point is that enough people within Nokia, despite all the research and seasoned professionals, thought that the nGage (along with the stupid "side talking") was a good idea. Good companies make stupid and bad decisions all the time. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Forget Nokia for a second. Nintendo and Sega (actual videogame companies) were at some point in the past, at the very top of this industry. Today however, they're far from being the domineers of the business. Suggesting that just because Sony is at the very top now, it doesn't mean that they can't fall off to the bottom of the chain if they make enough stupid decisions like pricing a videogaming console $600. I hope you stopped getting your nipples tied in a knot and understood what I meant now that I broke it down for you to the lowest denominator. I love it when dense people act arrogant. =/ What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

You wouldn't have to go through all of that in the first place if the console does what it's suppose to: Work properly for a good couple of years or so. I still think you're better off if you wait a year or so. You bypass this entire issue, get a more stable unit for a cheaper price, & have a larger library (of also cheaper games) to select from. (Hell, by then, we might even know who comes out on top with this HD-DVD vs. Blue-ray war) I still have plenty of PS2 games that I haven't started yet. Then there's Wii at launch. I could easily hold out for a year. Something is unclear to me about the HDD. Is it detachable? It'd be really convenient for playing your saved games at a friend's place if the HDD can easily snap in and out of it's place. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I wonder what'll happen to PS3's price if HD-DVD comes out on top and blue-ray goes down the path of Sony's mini-disks and UMD movies...
Jam it back in, in the dark.

How ya doing, buddy?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Anyway, seems like the backlash just keeps on rolling... and rolling... and...rolling? ...? How the hell will analog A/V or Component cables be able to display a full, HD, 1080p picture? I'll only believe this, when I see it. I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah all the "1080p" pictures that I've seen via Component cables have seemed kind of crippled when put right next TVs showing the same footage with DVI or HDMI cables... What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
|
P.S. I'm not trying to be sarcastic here or challanging your statements. I'm genuinly asking because I've never seen an "HD" picture running through Component that truly looked as good as one off of HDMI. FELIPE NO

AWSOME! Seriously, line heckling is idiotic. How are you any better than the "no life losers in line" when you resort to messing with them for amusement? You have nothing else happening? That bored? Anyway, with all the lines formed for the pre-orders, I wonder what the lines for the actual launch are gonna be like. Hectic times are definately coming up. There's nowhere I can't reach.
