Does unplugging and replugging the monitor to the VGA card get it out of standby mode? Because that's what happens when you restart the machine.
I also think it's the video card. Monitors often destruct themself if there is any major problem. Or they loose signal (collapsing image) and never come back. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
