Here's a more updated list of icons .

I'm not very sure what "Cursed" and "Diseased" do. Probably not as debilitating as "Dazed" or "Stunned", so contemplating a switch...

Also if I move back one or two steps, presumably going up the stairs and gaining a line of effect that's not blocked by grates, can I shoot the towering Hulk without the partial cover penalty, presumably working both ways?

If I'm not mistaken (and I possibly may be since I wasn't paying too much attention prior to Secret Cow Level), Gordok probably holds the record for unconsciousness. He got kayoed by Rundarr before Skills did a time paradox, and twice in the Gnasc/Framarth fight, the second time was initially fatal before Skills finagled another time paradox. Fourth time I know of is this battle. Next to that, I'd say Garrmondo, he swooned a couple of times in the Gnasc fight if I recall correctly.

I'm also quite curious about damage output (ie who has inflicted the most damage in HP terms) Kills is one thing - who inflicted the prior damage is far more important - like my Rundarr kill for example. Of course, you won't be able to answer that question for some of Acer's fart-arbalesters-trolls-and-duergar-off-a-precipice kills. Any healing done should probably count as "damage inflicted" - keeping allies alive is just as important as sapping HP...

This is certainly very nitpicky so I won't be surprised if you don't do this, Shin

I'll bet real money that Gordok the... ummm... hybrid.... leader and controller far out-damages any striker or defender so far Definitely the next role I'd like to play would be a leader, probably warlord. Let's see if it's possible to build a lazy warlord who attacks nothing, and instead just tells people what to hit all the time...

Ah, but this is a collaborative game, in which a team of strikers would likely lose to a balanced team with healing and support.

Though, you are right with the measurement difficulty (I kept thinking about Basketball, where they do track things like these). Given the difficulty of gauging the value of support in number terms - for example, Glock and Gordy's positioning ability give tactical advantage and may prevent damage (i.e. enemy AoO); Gordy's ability to make enemies prone or dazed severely limits their damage output; Gheth's ability to bestow combat advantage can turn misses into hits. I guess there is no way to quantify that contribution

Ah, but there is a huge difference. My nova round got 60 damage and 1 kill - and that's with a crit and use of consumables. His nova round during Gnasc/Framarth reached ... I donno ... 120? Campaign record I'd say.

And possibly even overshadowed by the amount of HP he took off the table during the Helga/Gorg encounter. 2x Duergar Guards and 2x Arbalesters. Guards alone is like 58x2 = 116, never mind the arbalesters.

Third most massive damage inflicted in a single round? Possibly by Bob. With his spiky defenses of the Hargath Inn.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I don't think anybody updated the campaign history since Hargast, so it's lain dormant for quite a while longer than that.

Plus last I heard GFWiki was bugging out and essentially not working right at all.
Blah hasn't exactly effected a full template change yet, but have at it. (Fully editable, just doesn't have the GFWiki template yet)

As an example of what a well-oiled machine this game is, there's a PBP game on SA also running Thunderspire Labyrith... since August 2008.
The module is surely bigger than just the duergar castle, as you've hinted there was a dragon there. So, I'd say we're at par!

But you already played before, once... There shouldn't be any significant changes compared to last time, except for the dice rolling maybe.

If you're looking for races and stuff, you can download the books from the first post of this thread. As for which race is in which book, refer to the first post in the Magic Missile thread.

Anyway, here's a partial list (I know there's an assassin class in the Character Builder, but for the life of me I can't find it anywhere in the books.) The first Player's Handbook, as well as the book containing the race and class you're gonna use, is all you need to read.

I'm not sure what you think I can do here

First of all, Cal's just as effective 15 squares away as he is in 3 squares.

Second, he's not built for melee. Not only has he low HP and few healing surges, he's also quite squishy. Keeping away and out of harm preserves party healing resources which is better used for frontline defenders.

Third, he's just had a nova turn. All tapped out of encounters.

Fourth, he's not too happy about the callousness of the halfling.

Fifth, he's still grieving and won't be powergaming for five turns. I totally rolled for it. (I mean eh, why bother optimizing rounds to inflict maximum damage when your allies don't.)

Sixth, I'm still exploring whether Cal can try athletics to climb to the amphitheater's higher levels from the outside, where it's safer to do so than from the inside.

Finally, he's still bummed that he was dropped into the encounter on the front line all lined up where the enemy controller can drop a nice area attack on everyone at once at the beginning of the battle, when he explicitly stipulated that he'd rather bring up the rear.

I was about to point out that Geoff in fact obstructs at least 3 out of 4 lines you can draw between the seer and Garrmondo, thus providing superior cover. But it seems +14 against reflex, plus a high roll of 16, is just too high to surmount

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

'Sides, I like to think Prime Shot is for those Melee rangers rather than the archers. Surely you don't expect me to get into enemies' faces and take OAs for every single attack?

Also, I would like to invoke the target clause of Fey Switch. "Willing" ally. I'm not willing.

1. One post in a testing thread to "prime" my post. Another post in Magnum Innominandum to activate it 25 seconds later! Well, it worked. Could've been derailed of course if someone happened to make a post in between.

CHz really thought of everything. I tried directly accessing the editpost.php link but it wouldn't allow me.

2. It's okay, it's not like I'm doing anything that would impact Skill's turn. 'Sides, everyone but Gordok posts in a bloc. ('Sides, I recall you saying months ago that you'd rather someone be early than late.

Anyway if you want me to post later and just ignore what I posted on April Fool's, I won't mind one single bit ;-)

What the hell?

In my first turn, I dropped a monster with a nova.
In my second turn, I had a couple of bad rolls that wouldn't hit anything. I used a standard, a move, and a minor, what "diddling around for conditions to be perfect" are you talking about?
In my third turn, I had to get away from the position you put me in.

Can you tell me exactly when Cal has not been contributing to team damage? Because frankly, If I can concentrate on dropping the enemies one at a time, while the defenders keep them at bay, the battle can be over much sooner!

And the shift northeast? I have 15 HP left. Pang is going to focus fire the manglers on me. Skills has slowed one of them. Since I'm dazed and only have one action in my next turn, it's logical for me to put as much distance as I can. My damage output is the same, five or twenty squares away. And if the team healers don't have to worry about healing me, that helps the team in the long run.

I am most perplexed at your resentment here. It is my job as a striker to damage a single enemy as much and as quickly as possible. I'm not a defender like Garrmondo who can soak up the punishment. You made a character whose most potent attacks are close bursts, which need you to get in melee range. And you wonder why you become a punching bag?
