Oh well, four more years of this raving lunatic. I guess, what the supreme Leader wants, the supreme Leader gets.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
The 2000 election was ultimately hinged on the returns of a few counties in a single state. The anomalies alleged in Iran's case is far more sweeping. The proper analogy might have been Texas going for Kerry in a landslide, or California and New York going solidly for Bush.

According to that link, the Ayatollah's daughter was arrested.
How intriguing. I guess power is thicker than blood. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Zip, I strongly suggest you postpone your trip to Iran, especially if you're going to Tehran. We don't really know what's happening, and things can get pretty messy real quick.
How ya doing, buddy? |
I am cautiously optimistic that this is going to end up with both Khamenei and Ahmadinejad fired. Though, I fear there will also be a bloodbath.
I wonder if Zip really went on with his decision to go to Tehran. I was speaking idiomatically. |
The impression I'm getting from reading Western analyses of the situation say that Ahmadinejad may have truly won the election, although not by the majority officially reported by the government. Is it true that the protests are more or less an urban phenomenon, and the rural people still largely support the raving lunatic, Zip?
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
