Anything funny on your hosts file?

%windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Try opening hosts. with Notepad, see what's inside.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

nginx is a web server, so there are three possibilities.

1. Problem on the servers themselves.
2. Problem with your connection.
3. Problem with your computer.

I think we can strike off the first - if there's a server problem, you won't be the only one affected.

Your scans indicate the absence of any malware. Since this appears on multiple browsers, and your hosts file was not maliciously altered, then perhaps it's got something to do with your connection.

Can you explain how you are connected to the internet? Are you hooked up directly to the DSL modem? Laptop via wireless? Do you use any kind of anonymizing software to connect?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hm, then perhaps it could be your computer after all.

Care to post screenshots of your running processes in Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL), as well as Services and Startup tabs of the System Configuration Utility (Start > Run > msconfig)?

In addition, some logs may be helpful as well. Open Event Viewer (Start > Run > eventvwr.msc) and post both Application and System logs here, in EVT format.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
