Not a user of Vista, but perhaps it's got something to do with the power settings if your laptop is plugged into AC power.
As for the internet connectivity issues, does this happen if you use a different ethernet cable? Does unplugging and replugging the ethernet connector accomplish the same thing as your software alternative? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
