PPT --> Instead of printing "Handouts" under the Print options, choose to print "Slides". You may have to fiddle around with the page orientation under Print Preview.
PDF --> When printing, use "Fit to Printable Area" page scaling, and [v] Auto-Rotate and Center Jam it back in, in the dark. |
If you want to print 6 slides per page, you need to select "Handouts".
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I'm.... sort of confused as to what you want. Do you want to print individual slides blown up, or do you want to print six slides on one page?
![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hmmm, I misinterpreted the initial question. In my experience, the best way you can blow up the slides is to enable "Scale to Fit Paper", and to choose a suitable paper orientation. Choosing to print Outline view prints the presentation as a sort of outline.
I attach a sample PDF output using a random presentation file. Perhaps what you're looking for is to print it in slide mode, but to specify in your printer layout settings to print 6 pages per sheet. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Like I said in my previous post, set Powerpoint to print slides, but tell your printer to print 6 pages per sheet. It's a PRINTER setting, independent of the application. Obviously, this varies across printers, but should look something like this:
![]() ![]() I attach your given examples (instead of my printer, I instructed Adobe to create a PDF with 6 slides per page). I was speaking idiomatically. |
Not that kind of Properties under your list of printers. It's under "Properties" when you hit File -> Print, right next to the printer name. (HP calls it Printing Preferences, under the General tab).
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
