You may want to try the Hardware & Networking Zone forum, which is more specific towards these kinds of queries.
Personal experience wise, Toshiba makes excellent laptops (but has lousy customer service). I don't like Dell laptops, and have a pretty good experience with IBM Thinkpads (now Lenovo). I can't comment on Sony, Acer, AsusTek, or Hewlett-Packard laptops. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
