The good ol trials and tribulations of living in college residence.
They use to pull the fire alarm nonsense at the worse possible times out of the 4 years I'm living in residence at my university. You'd never get these fire alarms when it was a nice day; its either late in the night or early in the morning with the worse weather imaginable. Anywhere from 2:00 am to 6:00 am in the morning If you lived on any of the upperfloors, you'd literally have to be outside within three minutes; the RA's would knock on your room doors as loud as they could.
I can remember being sent out in snowstorms, rain, and when it was just downright cold. It kind of sucked during my first year not knowing any better, and having to deal with harshness of the weather especially not being dressed for it.
Every other year I just came to expect it, even we had no idea when the fire alarms were going to be tested, but I made it a habit to try to have a pair of pajama pants and t-shirt when I went to bed to at least stay remotely warm when the fire alarm goes off in incredibly bad weather, but its always fun to watch the first years unexpect it, and see them in the blizzard or rainstorm not properly dressed for the occassion especially when wearing no shoes or sandals under a few feet of snow, lol.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
