I usually pick up a few video games every couple of weeks all depending on whats available. What I recently picked up within the last few days are:
1.) Wild Arms XF 2.) NeoGeo Battle Coliseum Ever since I picked up King Of Fighters XI I've been on the big SNK kick lately. I haven't been playing any of the games I've purchased lately. I'm trying to get Lifesigns for the DS and Valkyrie Profile 2 finished. Valkyrie Profile 2 has been pissing me off as of late due to the fact that Freya + Ether Strike + high evasion = total blonde bitch. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
I made some recent game purchases as well. I was hoping to pick up Castle of Shikigami III (with hopefully better voice dialogue than Castle Shikigami 2)for the Wii, but it looks like EB games didn't get it. Looks like I'll have to ebay it or hopefully one of the eb games in Newfoundland got it in.
I did pick up Persona 3: FES and Disgaea for the PSP even though I probably won't be playing any of those games fairly soon. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I reccently made a few game purchases over the weekend. The games I picked up are:
1.) Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2 (DS) - Finally a sequel to the original game which I immensely enjoyed. 2.) Mega Man Powered Up (PSP) - Kind of amazed I found this game in factory sealed condition. Just two more games added to my backlog of many more games. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Boy did I end up purchasing quite a lot over the last week. Especially today.
I took my friends advice and decided to go to the flea market incredibly early. In terms of video game system. I have now added an Atari with 10 games and also a Sega Saturn. The game I picked up was Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. The game they had for the sega saturn that I wanted really badly but they only had the game itself not the case and the manual and for a collector like me thats just unacceptable. The game is Dragon Force for $40. I remember Denicalis saying that it was such a great and under-appreciated RPG for the Sega Saturn. He'll probably end up killing me for not getting it at such a good price. In terms of the Atari games I picked up: 1.) Asteroids 2.) Defender 3.) Keystone Capers 4.) Missle Command 5.) Yars Revenge 6.) E.T. 7.) Plaque Attack and a few others. I also ended up picking up Final Fantasy IV (DS) & The Legend Of Heroes III (PSP) Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
Did a bit of video game shopping over the last few days:
The games I picked up are: 1.) Dragon Quest IV (DS) 2.) Yggdra Union (PSP) 3.) New Super Mario Bros. (DS) More games to add to my backlog. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]()

It has definitely been a big spending spree for my wife and I over the last month for video games. Tonight was a pretty good night for picking up some classic games at the flea market.
Games we picked up for the flea market are: Atari 2600 1.) Ice Hockey 2.) Ms. Pac Man 3.) Dig Dug (Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet) SNES 1.) Lion King - One of the best Disney games ever for the Super Nintendo. With a beautiful soundtrack and an insane difficulty level it was a worthwhile purchase. 2.) Final Fantasy II - To own this cartridge is a sweet victory because ever since the game first got released in North America in 1991. It was a game I always wanted, but no matter where or how hard I looked I could never find it. It is good to finally own the actual cartridge, even though I have finished the game before. Other games I picked up recently are: DS 1.) Time Hollow 2.) Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood 3.) Disgaea DS 4.) Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia PS3 1.) Eternal Sonata What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]()

I ended up purchasing a lot of games while I was home. Unfortunately I'm not going to be home when my copy of Street Fighter IV comes out. This what I ended up getting while I was home over the holidays.
PS2 1.) Persona 4 2.) Ar Tonelico II 3.) Crimson Tears Gamecube 1.) Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance 2.) Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean DS 1.) Rocket Slime 2.) Nanostray 3.) Advance Wars: Dual Strike PSP 1.) Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2.) Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution 3.) Jeanne D'Arc 4.) Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter GBA 1.) Sword of Mana 2.) Advance Wars 3.) Sigma Star Saga I've been coming across some good deals at the flea market. I think I've done enough game spending over the holidays. I don't think I'll have much of an opportunity to get anything else while I'm working up here. I have a friend that I've been helping finish off his NES and SNES collection. So I've been buying countless games for him worth around 5 to 10 dollars a game. Just so that if he sees anything at the flea market I'm interested in. He'll buy it for me to reimburse for all the games I buy for him since the flea amrket tends to have a lot of great older games that I usually miss out on while I'm working in Alberta. When I was home a couple of days ago, went to the flea market again to try to nail some stuff down.
I have to admit I ended up getting a pretty good haul this time around at the flea market: SNES 1.) Chrono Trigger 2.) Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest My friend on the other hand got one of the best side scrolling games on the SNES in my eyes. That game is: ![]() This game was done by Capcom and if you have not played it. I would definitely recommend it. He also got Wanderers from Ys III (Fucker). I also found my favorite game for the Atari 2600. That game was Seaquest. I also picked up Megaman X8 at the flea market as well. I ended up picking up some factory sealed stuff over the last couple of days when I was home. Those games are: DS 1.) Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon 2.) Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride PSP 1.) Loco Roco 2 PS3 1.) Street Fighter IV - Collectors Edition I also think I'm going to be going back to buying rarer rpg's for the Playstation & Playstation 2. I got my eyes on the Digital Devil Saga series and the Tales of Destiny series. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
I went on a bit of a video game shopping spree today. I finally had a rare opportunity to get into town; so while I was running some errands I stopped into the local eb games and Walmart and picked up some deals for myself.
I also had a few games pre-ordered back in Newfoundland, and my wife eventually picked those up while I was away. PS2 1.) The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga 2.) Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2 PSP 1.) DJ Max Fever 2.) Mana Khemia: Student Alliance DS 1.) Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume 2.) Suikoden Tierkeris 3.) Legacy of Ys: Books I & II Wii 1.) Ultimate Shooting Collection (Radio Allergy, Karous, Chaos Field) I've been getting into top-down shooters lately. Has anybody played any of those shooters from the Ultimate Shooting Collection. Any input would be greatly appreciated. One other thing I wanted to bring up is I had to deal with an incredibly rude clerk at eb games today because I was ready to purchase 6 games, but I just kindly asked if all 6 games which were fairly new releases at the time if they had any sealed copies of the 6 games I asked for and they only had sealed copies of two of them. So I just told him I would take the two sealed copies. He got a bit rude and said why would you want it sealed, isn't having the game itself good enough for you. I just told him I'm just a collector it's just something about me and my dedication to my video game collection. It's not as if I got irate, because I didn't but I guessing as a clerk he was interested in making a sale like any person would in a retail store. I just found out after I got back, one of the two games is not actually factory sealed he just went to the back of the store and placed two carefully hidden stickers on each side of the game, and if I take them off its going to rip up some of the box of the game. So I got pwned. Oh well, I'm just pawn the game off to one of my friends. I'm sure he'll like it. I help him with his video game collection as well. The joys of being a collector I guess. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]()

Skills you are a fucking saint.
I walked into Future Shop today; I was only home for a couple of days. You were absolutely right. I went to the Wii section and there it was. The Wii game I've been hunting so long for a very reasonable price of 24.99. I finally got: Castle of Shikigami III Time for some bullet hell goodness. Your prediction was right, Skills. If future shop in Winnipeg had it, there could of been a good opportunity that the future shop in my hometown had it as well. I find it strange that even though Castle of Shikigami III was a US release title, how come future shop is the only Canadian retail store to carry it since no other video game supplier in Canada has it as far as I know even though I have seen it to rent at Rogers from time to time. I decided to cave in to Miles furry orgasm peer pressure and bought a copy of Klonoa for the Wii. The only reason why this game will sell well is that Miles promoting the hell out of it. I went on a pretty good shopping spree when it comes to gaming over the last couple of days. Other games I picked up are: GBA 1.) Pokemon: Ruby Version 2.) Shaman King: Master of Spirits 3.) Shaman King: Legacy of the Spirits GBC 1.) Yu-Gi-Oh: Dark Duel Stories PS3 1.) Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection DS 1.) Avalon Code 2.) Lux Pain PSP 1.) Final Fantasy I Gamecube 1.) MegaMan Network Transmission 2.) Tales of Symphonia I finally got the black label of this game, even though countless times I have come across this game with the players choice label. I'm so happy I got the original. I'm very excited to get this game. I think that is going to be it when it comes to my game shopping for a while. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I went on a pretty big video game shopping spree over the last couple of days, mostly for snes games. The flea market scene has been dead over the last couple of weeks, but for some apparent reason there was a lot of great games being sold today. This is list of what I got over the last two days, I think I spent roughly $220.00
SNES Super Star Wars (Complete) Super Return of the Jedi (Complete) Super Smash TV (Complete) Adventures of Batman & Robin (Complete) Super Bust-a-Move (Complete) Super Buster Bros. (Complete) Eek!!!! The Cat (Complete) Breath of Fire II Final Fantasy III Castlevania IV King of Dragons Bart's Nightmare Kirby's Avalanche Mega Man X Actraiser Street Fighter II Street Fighter Alpha 2 PS2 Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits Disgaea: Hour of Darkness I would like to think that was a pretty good haul. There are obvious a few snes games, I really wanna play that I haven't had a chance to play before such as the adventures of batman & robin and super return of the jedi. The best thing of all, is this guy has who sold me the complete snes games, has a whole bunch more, and since I gave him a good bit of business he is going to give me first dibs on the next set of games that he gets. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
