What's with the h.264 HD releases? They stopped releasing them after the third episode. Is there a particular reason for that or am I just too stupid to actually find them? Damn, Ergo Proxy actually started to be interesting ...
I've been following the releases from Shinsen-Subs in this regard. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Damn, I wish someone would continue releasing HD versions already.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Spoiler:
This episode also proves that the protagonist's name is Real Mayar instead of Lil. Shinsen Subs were the only ones who got it right from the start. I really start falling in love with this Anime now. It's one of the few I've seen in a while that actually keeps me interested. Especially now that the plot is really picking up some pace. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Shinsen-Subs have released Episode 4 in XviD/MP3 as well as h.264/AAC HD format.
Now there's no doubt that these are the most accurate translations you'll get for Ergo Proxy, since they took their time to research books of a French philosopher who is quoted in the anime. They also promise to release new episodes more frequently now that this issue has been resolved. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
![]() You won't have these in any of the other releases. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Well, one of your main points was that Ergo Proxy is not typical sci-fi.
While this may disappoint you, it's one of the things that makes this Anime so unique in my opinion. It's totally unpredictable. I don't think the execution of revelations so far were disappointing, either. I personally prefer to learn more of the mystery behind the Proxies with each episode rather than having to sit through countless episodes with no real plot developments whatsoever. You're certainly entitled to criticism, I just found it odd that your main points of criticism are also the very same things that make Ergo Proxy stand out amidst the more generic Animes of this genre. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I finally decided to give up on Ergo Proxy since nobody even bothers translating it anymore and the more recent episodes seemed to be too freaky for my personal taste.
It's a sad thing considering this was one of the few Anime shows I've grown attached to in recent years. Most amazing jew boots |
I'm definitely waiting for an mp3 release as well.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
