I'm actually quite a bit surprised at those scores. Wouldn't have expected the game to turn out that good, especially since it's one of the lesser known series in the J-RPG niche.

Of course I'm even more excited about Persona 3 now. The game looks gorgeous and gameplay seems to be refreshingly different from its predecessors. The delay is bad, but I guess it will be worth the wait.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Just started playing as well, everything is cool so far.

The only thing I was annoyed with was the extremely long introduction phase in the beginning. It's basically one hour of dialogue before you even get to wander around on your own.

Yeah, that fatigue thing is shaping up to be extremely annoying.

It sure is getting better and better. Now I can clear 5 floors at a time without a party member dozing off. Still, it's a slightly annoying thing. Especially because fatigue seems to be one of the major gameplay elements.

A quick question concerning Personas: The ones I fuse are lost forever, right? I mean, there's absolutely no way of ever getting back the Personas you've lost? If so, that'd be lame. I'm on Tartarus level 15 and still don't feel like giving up my cool Personas only to create cooler ones.

Also, why is the item and equipment management so weird? Say, if you're heading to the police a.k.a. the weapon dealer, why can't you equip your party members right away?

I was speaking idiomatically.

Also, you don't lose Personas "permanently" when you fuse them. I forgot what month, either the second or so, you get the compendium and you can "record" the ones you have on you, with all their skills etc and buy them back at a later date. Orpheus, your main persona comes with the book If I remember correctly.
So what you're saying is that I should wait with fusing until I get that book? I'm on level 15 of the Tartarus and about 7 hours into the game already but I still have yet to fuse because I'm afraid of losing my Persona skills.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

See, I'm just afraid of screwing up with the fusing system. Like losing skills that are absolutely crucial to defeating certain enemies. To me it just seems particularly dangerous, especially with the tactical combat system. That's the main reason I haven't bothered with fusing yet, although I guess I'm supposed to by now.

Can you reacquire Personas with the cards you get after a battle? I know that if you already have one they don't stack up. But what happens when you receive a Persona card of a Persona you've already fused into a new one?

So are you people concentrating on S-Links one at a time or are you trying to equally push all your acquaintances? Seeing how little time you actually have to spend, I'm beginning to think I should focus more on the S-Links I really need for my Persona.

I'm wondering if you get more "free" time to spend with friends later in the game. It's essentially one activity per day and then it's evening. Seeing how the day actually has a lot of unused phases, I'm hoping you'll eventually get the chance to do some more stuff in one day.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

There's one thing about the process of Persona fusing that's been really bothering me: You're basically lost if you don't use a fusing guide or note down combinations on your own. Just why is it that the game can't provide you with a list of recipes?

I don't want to resort to GameFAQs just to find out how to fuse that certain type of Persona I require to beat a certain boss. Experimenting isn't an option and trying a sheer infinite amount of combinations takes ages.

I don't know, but the entire fusing business still doesn't sit right with me. That's a shame, especially since it seems to be a central aspect of the game.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Wait, how do you even "grind" your Social Links? I was under the impression that you're limited to meeting a single person per day, so how can you max out your Social Links faster on a second playthrough?

How ya doing, buddy?
