The video was taken during the 23rd C3 (Chaos Communication Congress) in Berlin, Germany.
http://events.ccc.de/congress/2006/Home The point of this particular presentation was not to show the homebrew capabilities of the Wii but to point out the flaws of current encryption and protection methods. Their main objective is to prove that all attempts at securing a system are futile because they will be hacked, anyways. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
