Initial is the promotional price, around here right now it's 19.99 for the first 6 months, then it goes up to the normal monthly price which is ~50.
Don't know if there's a minimum contract, perhaps you should read the fine print. EDIT: And you know, you can go on Comcast's website and check prices...which would be more accurate to your area. Jam it back in, in the dark.
