Your first "non-romantic" kiss?

Sort of parallel to the other first kiss thread, except I'm wondering about those non-romatic kisses: playing wedding when you were 5, sneaking off into corners in elementary school, spin the bottle, truth or dare...

Little kids kissing is especially comical. My roommate used to go into the corner of her Sunday school class and kiss this little boy when she was a very little kid. Another one of my friends was playing "wedding" when he got his first kiss at the age of 5.

I can't remember having a romantic bone in my body until I hit middle school. If you did kiss as a kid, what were you thinking? Were you just curious? Was it weird? Funny stories?

Edit: And on a somewhat related note, I remember when the boy next door to me explained that his "mommy and daddy put their private parts together" to have him. Being age 7 or so, I remember being totally weirded out--and being convinced that he was lying.

Yeah, I never really got into the whole "playing doctor" thing. I'm not even really sure how that works. I know I did it once with this girl from my neighborhood; the only thing I remember is me being naked and wrapped in a blanket. I don't think much happened beyond that.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

That's totally where I'm coming from. To this day, my parents do not show each other physical affection, even just around me. The whole "casual affection" thing was never even a factor in my life, and I too had to follow them around DEMANDING hugs.

To this day, I'm still pretty shy about public affection. And by "shy," I mean, "I've never showed it before."

Edit: Also, Alice always has such tragic stories!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
