Live with both parents, and have a good relationship with both. I'm pretty close to my dad.
My parents aren't affectionate with each other, but they've been married 30 or so years, so it must be working out okay... There was a point when I was about 10 that they almost separated, but we all squeaked by, and things seemed to have settle a bit since then. My parents are getting old. They do old people things and have random hobbies. They'll be 60 in a couple of years... I think they're kind of in the "we're old and stubborn and we'll tolerate each other" stage of life. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
