I bought a leather trenchcoat on my trip to Argentina in March. It's not the matrix-style ones everyone seems to wear to look cool, but more like one of the "fifties detective"-style coats with the belt and the thousands of buttons and shit. It's a fucking cool coat. I wouldn't really consider myself a goth, and I'm not psychotic yet - I just wear it because it's warm, waterproof and sexy.
Don't remember the first time I saw one... Maybe while I still lived in Germany? No idea. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |

As for pricing, mine only cost me $120 as I bought it in Buenos Aires - Down there, there's a street with maybe 70 leather dealerships side-by-side, so pricing is waaaaay down. I'd strongly recommend importing.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
