I was in a friend's car on the motorway and he didn't notice the tow-truck crawling at 10mph ahead of us. VERY nearly rear-ended it at 80mph. That's probably the biggest near-miss I've had as far as cars go.
Other things: I'm strongly allergic to nuts, peanuts, glue and apples. I was quite ill at one point during my childhood. A rough landing at a rural airport in Chile convinced me (and most of the other passengers) that the plane was going to buckle and snap. At the age of three, I ate around a hundred juniper berries before my mother noticed. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
