Last year I cycled down to my old school to see what was happening and to check if it had improved. It hadn't. It's still run by the total asshole headmaster and it's unnecessarily oppressive.
Oh, and a few days ago I talked to my father for the first time in god knows how long. He didn't apologise for any of the shit he'd caused me and asked me the usual banal questions he's plagued me with in the past (what are you reading? How's school? What are your grades?). Hell, for all I know a year couldn't have even passed. Jam it back in, in the dark.  |
