Yep. You only need the Serial Number to download the patches. The cool thing is, some people actually downloaded the game and liked it a lot and were encouraged to buy the game simply because of their stance against draconian copy protection such as Starforce. It's nice to see that their stance on invasive copy protection has paid off in some cases. Yay Stardock =)
Also, this is an excellent game.
