Silent Hill 1 was pretty traumatizing the first time I played it.

Spoiler:
Maybe it was the whole story of a child getting tortured that was the most disturbing, or maybe it was all the occult worship. But I totally jumped out of my seat when you're at that part in the school with the rattling locker and that darn cat. Playing in a dark room at night also added some scary yet enjoyable ambience. Really added to the experience. Not that Silent Hill needed it.


Jam it back in, in the dark.
