Loeb is kinda notorious for his Superman love and it seriously taints whatever he writes. I have to say, I did prefer the former Supergirl, written by Peter David a huge lot more, but look forward now to her visiting Kandor and being in L.E.G.I.O.N.

Just so you know, it's The Legion of Super-Heroes. L.E.G.I.O.N. is the current-time Legion-like organization.
As for Supergirl, I really don't like her. Loeb made her stronger the Superman, as if we need someone more powerful than ungodly. Also, it seems pointless. The last Supergirl was a fine character, yet her comic eventually failed and she was done away with. So, why does DC think this one will work? Also, we already have a Supergirl. Her name is Power Girl.
