Watching the right movie with the wrong people...

Bad mouthing a film while it's rolling shows poor judgement. Most people wait until the movie is finished to express their discontent or, if they have a bad enough problem, simply leave before the movie ends. In the case of this guy, I'd say he doesn't watch too many classic movies. Classics teach us that a good story can be told without special effects or a big action sequence every ten minutes. I'm tempted to tell you to force him to watch one just to see what his reaction would be and to make it a romantic one, just to make it more potent. But I won't.

I don't have a problem talking during movies. Usually, I have a question about something that might occur and want to discuss it with the person next to me. We share a couple of sentences (in a whisper if in a theater) and then get pulled back into the movie. Sometimes, I simply point out something in the movie that I enjoyed.
