So...I am thinking of getting a PSP.
Question is, I am still unclear about the differences between the old and new PSPs. Also, as I was reading a few posts, it seems that some software/homebrew stuff/etc only works on one type, and not the other? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
So, no, say SNES/NES emulation for a SLIM PSP? I am wanting to play mostly PSP games, and retroing it as well.
And crab, I like your avatuar and title. I may be one of the few who actually know what it all means, haha. How ya doing, buddy? |
So....I hav eheard it both ways. Does NES/SNES emulation work for the new, Slim PSP or no?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
So use 3.51 for PS1 games?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Yuna, according to the PSX on PSP Compatibility, you can fix that. The fix is as such:
"If you use a high version of pops you will get a corrupted save. To solve this, delete your non working save, then use popsloader to run the game on 3.03. Once you get to the title screen you'll have a perfectly working save. You can now reset and use popsloader and use a higher version to play the game." PSX on PSP Compatibility List - TheGamersPress What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Read Miniface's guide on how to convert/install PS1 games. I felt it was fairly straightforward.
FELIPE NO |
I asked around and was told that trick supposedly worked. SOMEHOW the battery keeps the information you need. I lost the link but there was a guide that someone posted that was a step-by-step procedure. Keep in mind that you may lose the battery you use for this procedure although that may be better than having to find someone else with a PSP.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
As Jazz said, I, myself wait until I know it's all good. Last thing you want is to download it and there be some fatal flaw that was missed. I mean, we're all human and once in a while miss something such as that.
How ya doing, buddy? |
