Hm, that IS weird. Did you try to take the RAM back out and see if the battery holds a charge?

Also, although I don't know of any offhand, maybe you can run a program that will check your battery for you. You can see if there are any problems there. I know Vista has one built in (which actually works), but I can think of any freebies at the moment.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps when installing the RAM, somehow it shorted the battery out. It's just strange though, because I thought the RAM and the battery were fairly seperate and distanced from each other.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
