hmmm,
When Rey had his mask off, he teamed with Billy Kidman quite often. He and Kidman even won the cw tag team titles for the whole two weeks they existed (literally). Goldust got released after he got drunk on the plane and started singing to his ex-wife Terri Runnells. Anyway, DX vs NWO? No. We all know that the NWO will just be punked by DX. They will probably get the upperhand for one or two weeks leading up to a match. THen a DQ win by DX. Then DX will get them back. Few more weeks leading to a beat down by the NWo. DX wins and beats them in a match. THen DX beats them in a cage match/losers must break up. The end. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
She was on Dancing with the Stars and other shows in which she started to get noticed in the mainstream. Around that time, her contract was also starting to run out. So, she decided not to have it renewed as she focused on using the publicity she was getting for movies, dancing and the like...
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
They won't. It would be foolish for them to bring back the NWO minus one of it's founding members. That includes Hall, NASH AND HOGAN. And it won't help their (DX's) cause or the WWE's if they get booed because they are booked against what seems to unturnable babyface in Hogan...

I didn't hear about that one dagget. Sad to hear. Scary too...how many young wrestlers do I hear pass away compared to those who have hit the golden years.... Sigh...
I was speaking idiomatically. |
J.oooooy, I guess on that one Slash. And well. looks like the Million dollar man is gone once again...
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I.R.S. was on? When was this?!
Anyway, shame he left. He knew quite a bit, especially being a second generation wrestler... FELIPE NO |
So...um...Survivor Series is shaping up to be crappy with many matches having only so much build up to them for actual teams. It also seems that they have done away with the idea of "Smackdown VS Raw" or "ECW VS WWE" and thrown them all on the same team.
Hmmmmmm.... What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Wouldn't it been more awesome if it were...say...the Brooklyn Brawler though?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
In a scary situation, Piper was found to have Cancer. Thankfully, he should recover.
I agree. I enjoy the Styles/Daniels match-ups, but I am also growing tired of seeing them feud over and over again. Granted, the roles reversed might freshen things up, but only so much... There's nowhere I can't reach. |

I think it's semi-anticlimatic given that they accepted the challenge AFTER it was made. Oh well...

I almost see there being some sort of angle where RVD, Sabu, and Sandman start some sort of feud with TNA. Granted, not for nearly a year, but it is still possible. Of course, what to call themselves is the question...
How ya doing, buddy? |
THey did. Sports Entertainment Extreme was there as the idea of "old school" VS "new school". It sucked as they literally had women dancing like strippers before every match. It failed.
THe thing is though, Heyman having an Extreme Alliance type deal is old. Very old. It has been done over, and over, and over again. One thing though people are failing to realize. Russo AND Heyman have flaws. Russo doesn't have anyone to hold him back from a creative standpoint. Heyman doesn't have anyone to hold him back from a finicial standpoint. They NEED to have someone there to, um, be a voice of reason FELIPE NO |
Cena will beat both of them. He's going to Mania against Triple H for the title most likely.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Actually, I like him getting booed out of the buildings at times and him giving the "I just don't care" mentality. It's kinda like Nash at the end of 95 for a bit before he turned heel. Except for once, it's not a full fledged heel turn.
People are now talking about a face turn for Nitro, with the idea of his partner Mercury returning...and turning on him come after Mania (or at Mania). Thing is though, I can't forsee Nitro getting enough support to gain a world title reign. Furthermore, I hate to say it, but just having the last name of 'Nitro' is bad considering how much Vince LOVES 'Nitro'... Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Cena VS Orton? Yes? No?!
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Sad to hear about Bigelow. It's amazing that all the big men are gone now. Yoko, Bossman, Earthquake, now Bigelow. I am concerned for Vader because he's around the same age, and he's the last big man (cept for the Big Show) I can think of that has been in wrestling for a while.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Earthquake (John Tenta) had cancer for a couple of years. He passed away from it last year on June 7th.

Actually, there have been a few house show changes.
Christian beat Bradshaw for the European title at one house show. They were suppose to show it on television but didn't have enough time for some reason. Also, Christian (poor Christian) won the IC strap from Booker T after Booker got injured weeks after being Christian for the strap. The hardcore title changed hands many, many times at house shows too. I was speaking idiomatically. |
True...but I was just using that for an example.
Also, La Resistence won the tag title straps against um, SOMEONE (basically his partner got injured so La Resistance won the straps back) in a house show. The Cruiserweight title also changed hands on one house show and then back to the champ on another when they toured overseas (I think). I swear either the U.S. or Euro title also swapped hands (from one wrestler back to the original title holder) at some point. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
"Raven debuted in 2000 in a match between Taz and Jerry Lawler at Unforgiven 2000. He wasn't put in any other Championship matches, except the Hardcore. He had one helluva match against Rhyno at Backlash 2001. The reason why a lot of people don't recall Raven ever being in the WWE is because the latter part of his career was spent on Sunday Night Heat where he took advantage of his genius promos (which sadly went nowhere). The last major feud Raven had was against Saturn, ironically. Both were released under humiliating gimmicks. "
Actually, Raven was starting up some sort of gimmick after having his hair cut and wearing a dress. INterestingly enough, he continued to wear the dress/kilt in NWA. His potential sure wasn't used though. "Owen's death fucked me up most. I remember it was Oct. 5, 2007 and I was at the Rio casino at Vegas when I heard about it. Fucking horrible. First time a wrestling death had hit me. I think if Bret Hart were to die one of these days I'd give up wrestling altogether. Growing up who were the big heros of oyu guys?" Slightly confused about the date. Oct 5th 1997 was Pillman's death, (I think). It was a sad day...both of them. Iremember natively looking at my 'rents and saying something like it was an angle...when my parents corrected me and said it wasn't pretend. Owen's death was horrible, and given how much I looked up to Bret (and good to see other fans of him too!) and 'disliked' Owen (in the way that a healthy kid would get behind his fave wrestler against another) it brought up so many memories. My biggest is being sick with a horrible flu on Christmas, not even wanting to open presents, but wanting to listen to Bret cut a promo for his match with Diesel at the 1995 RR. While I only saw him in the tail end of his career (beating Austin for the US title), I liked Steamboat for his honorable methods. Sting was awesome too, as was Diesel, Michaels, and Taker. I still remember in 8th grade listening to my teacher, but more thinking about the big matches coming on that Monday evening. Gosh, and I remember having a routine too...up by 9 to watch Saturday Morning wrestling on WCW, then in the evening for the Main event, followed either by WCW or WWF depending which was on Sunday. Next was Monday with Raw (until Nitro showed up). Good memories.. I agree with Storm. Almost. I forsee it being Trips getting SUperkicked by Michaels at the ten year 'We miss you Bret! Ha ha.' reunion of the infamous Montreal incident. Why Michaels? Cuz everyone knows Trips would turn heel so why not do something like Sting~Hogan (everything thought Hogan would turn heel when it was Sting). Spoiler:
FELIPE NO |
Jannetty DID win the strap from MIchaels for a brief reign. I think their match was a MOTW winner in 93.
Actually, Jacquline winning the TV title was not the last time they did that. SOme other times included: Chyna winning the IC title (2 X) Madusa winning the cruiserweight title (near the end of the WCW days) Mighty Molly winning the hardcore title for about ten seconds. Victoria winning the hardcore title for about ten seconds. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
A shame about Awesome. So...sudden. He was one of my bro's fave wrestlers and his matches were...no pun intended, usually awesome.
Some facts about Awesome not mentioned: He shocked the wrestling world when he showed up at WCW Nitro STILL as champion and took out Nash. Probably one of the top five shocking angles of all time. He is the only wrestler to ever be in a cross-promotional match between WWF and WCW. Ironically, it was on ECW turf for the ECW title (would have been cool if he showed up with the strap on TV so that it would have shown up on WCW one week, then WWF the next but...). Rumor has it that Bischoff wanted him to bring the strap to publically trash, but Awesome had enough honor to NOT do it. He won the ECW title twice, beating Tanaka after his one week title reign. He also held the ECW tag team titles several times (was he the only one to hold both straps at the same time? I'm not sure if Raven did as well...). He was the tallest ECW world champion. He ended Tazz's legendary reign back when Tazz was basically unstoppable. He also beat him fairly quickly (although he did have a little help from Tanaka) in the match which stunned the audience. Even more shocking was the fact that he was never scheduled to be part of the match. Unfortunately, most of his accomplishments that I can think of are during his ECW days. Don't bother asking about his WWE or WCW days...they are just...blah. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
At one point, Test had the "future world champion" look. However, after Steph turned heel, he lost he momentum and eventually became a mid-carder winning and losing until he and Albert were put together with Trish. That tag team was only mildly successful but never in line for a tag title reign, and the only big thing I can remember was him and Steph still have tension despite both being heels.
After Trish left, Test and Albert broke up, and Test became a face again, eventually challenging Rhyno over and over again for the HC title. He did eventually win it...with the help of Shane McMahon en route to the ill-fated WCW/ECW VS WWE angle, only to lose the title back within three days. Afterwards, when they turned all of WCW heel, he, after being beat down by the entire WWE rostor for being an associate of Shane's, turned heel again by going with WCW. This actually led to one of his most successful feuds and career pushes as he beat a red-hot Edge for the IC title in a thrilling match (they had several although repetitive). He lost that a few weeks later when Edge unified both the US and IC title, but did come back later that night to win the immunity battle royal (allowing him to stay around and his character to save some face). After this, I...well, he eventually went with Storm and the rest, and managed to get another small career push after he pinned Taker in an eight man tag. He lost the singles rematch as Summerslam though, and eventually Storm and all broke up, with Test soon after turning face and cutting his hair for Stacy. That led to the series of matches with various individuals, i think the biggest being Jericho. Then, after Stacy got mad at him for something Goldust said, he beganto turn heel, completing it when he won Stacy from Steiner (after losing her a month earlier in a match) and eventually Steiner's service in another match. That was short-lived though when Steiner turned him, and took out Stacy. Steiner and Test then tagged until I think Test got injured. He made some comment that he didn't care to come back or something like that, and was fired. The fact that he was rehired was not surprising. The fact he had such a significant role in the ECW brand IS. He looked prime to win the title but that was obviously not to be. Now he's gone again, and probably for good this time. I think this was his last big shot...and whether by his own actions or someone elses, he blew it. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
