And the Diva's champion is out with an injury. Maybe they can do as a favor and have the title fall out of existence, kinda like the WWE lightheavyweight title with XPac?
There's nowhere I can't reach. |

So much for a lengthy title reign.
Rumor is out they plan to screw Jeff out of the title at the Royal Rumble by having Christian interfere in his/Edge's match. Then Jeff would win the Royal Rumble (that would be a first) or an elimination chamber match (against Edge which makes no sense as if he did this then he'd get back the title...anyway) but give it up to face Christian at Wrestlemania (and look like a fool in the process). Trips would then face Edge. I have to call a stinker on this angle. Have Jeff face christian FOR THE TITLE at Mania. You already have Orton/Cena so why not take the chance? I was speaking idiomatically. |
My feeling is they need to do this:
-Jeff and Edge go for the title. Jeff wins it, barely. The thing would be that Edge hits the spear, thinks he has the title but Jeff puts his foot under the rope. That would give the feeling that it's not over. -Matt Hardy suddenly gets attacked by someone and is out of the Rumble. he is totally laid out in a very um 'impactful' fashion. -We go to the rumble, get to number 30 and no one appears. Why? We are then told Matt was suppose to have that number. -Triple H wins it. Or so we think. His music plays and he celebrates when suddenly Edge slides in the ring, throws Triple H over the top, and the bell rings again. we are then told that 1.) Edge was given the number 30 spot by Vickie Guerrero and 2.) the rules only say the order you should come out. It never says WHEN you have to come out because number no matter if Edge outs out 30 seconds later or 5 minutes later, he is still in 'order' that being number thirty. -People think Edge is the cause for the attack on Jeff. An investigation is called to check it out (just because there has to be some power checks at some point in the WWE, right? If not, then remove this part). Edge says he was not the attacker. -The Hardyz want Edge to pay for this, big time. -At NWO, Triple H is granted a title shot at Jeff. This is either due to said investigation or just Triple H beats the odds to get a title shot. Jeff retains though in a hard fought, fast paced match. Edge then comes in with a chair and knocks out Triple H. He then spear Jeff, and places him on the mat for a one-man conchairto. He looks to be about to hit it when Matt arrives and pulls the chair out of Edge's hands. However, he is suddenly blindsided by Christian. They then pound the Hardyz into the mat with repeated chair shots, spears, and an unprettier by Christian to Matt onto the ECW title. They then end things with a conchairto to each man, then grab the World and ECW titles respectivley and hold them over the Hardyz to end said show. -We then find out it was Christian who attacked both the Hardyz. This then sets up two matches for Wrestlemania: 1.) Jeff Vs Edge in a TLC match (after the chair shots and everything else) and 2.) Matt Vs Christian in a grudge match (after the unprettier on the ECW title) for the ECW title. this uses some of their idea while at the same time making it far more logical, giving a really awesome set of matches, story lines that are logical and intense, and giving all four men a chance to shine in title matches TEN YEARS to the mania where they had their ladder match for the tag team titles. They can even then reference all their history over the past several years, their matches, etc. This would also get Christian in a high profile match, feud and storyline without it being the main event, have another high caliber ECW champion which would certainly would only be good, and down the line allow 1.) whoever knocks Christian off to get a nice career boost and 2.) set Christian up for a world title storyline and perhaps even reign down the line. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
True, that is why I brought him down to the ECW title. Let's face it, the ECW title is not exactly on par of the WWE and World titles. heck, Matt said whie he was ECW champ that he'd like to win one of those two titles. I mean, heck, for Jeff, ironicalyl enough his first match back in the WWE was with Edge.

I am starting to see it being JBL vs HBK for the title. I hope they have HBK WIN because seriously, JBL has been a joke since his return.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
that surprised me as Low Ki was being penciled in to portray the Suicide character. I feel bad for Low Ki though as I don't like his chances.
Oh, and Bam Needly (who they just reported went back to FCW) and DLO Brown (who just returned last summer) are gone. Additional Spam: Whoa, and Val Venis is added to that list. He was one of those I thought would NEVER get cut from the WWE. Also, Kevin Thorn is gone... Jam it back in, in the dark.

Kaz is injured. They were talking about having Low Ki be the Suicide character until Kaz returned.
Bam Needly was Chavo's bodyguard. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Going back to what you were talking about Slash...one report says "just about every supervisor or boss has or is about to be let go". they then said they have "security available to escort those who were fired out of the building". Somehow, I doubt I could see them putting up much resistance although if they seriously did fire as many people as they did, it would be interesting tosee what happening if they massed together.
Still though...EVERY boss and supervisor? Sounds like reorganization from the bottom almost to the top (Vince, Shane and Stephanie aren't going anywhere). This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Wait, why did Bischoff write this?
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
So Christy Hemme is out with an injury that will require surgery. Stinks for her as she was finally starting to get a push. The question now is, whose going to be next? Will Taylor Wilde get the shot instead, will Gail Kim surprise everyone by not being on the WWE's payroll and face Kong, or will someone else totally new take the match (and perhaps the title)?
With taht said, prediction time: World Title: Sting Vs Rhino - Wow, Sting has finally had a TNA title reign that is 1.) significantly long (and longer than one month) and 2.) is the longest reign he has had since 1992. Anyway, no way Rhino is getting the title here. This is about it for Rhino with regards to main event matches for a while. He lost to Kurt, now he'll be beat by Sting.' Winner: Sting Jeff Jarrett Vs Kurt Angle - The big rematch. I think it's more or less a lock that Angle will have Jarrett tap in this one although it would be kinda cool to see Jeff pull it out again. They could build on this even more by having Jarrett beat Kurt a second time, causing Kurt to snap and ultimately have another rematch with much higher stakes (a title, a career, etc). I don't see that happening however. Winner: Kurt Angle Mick, DVon and AJ Vs Booker T, Steiner and Nash - Quite a very strange six man tag. The thing they are going to try to pull here is the attack on Bubba although he and DVon won the IWGP Tag titles a few days back. So it's kinda hard to be consistent but what's that in pro wrestling anymore. I either see Mick doing the job (look at his track record after he had post-retirement matches...how many DID he win?) although that's not highly likely, or Mick's team taking the win after Bubba returns and gets revenge. This may then set up a Booker T Vs Mick Foley for the Legends title match-up. Also, if lucky, perhaps Rick will return and we can set up the Dudleyz Vs Steiners match that really never ahppened (amazingly, we would come full circle regarding face/heel turns). Finals of X-Division Tournament - Sabin Vs Shelley. I think this is a slow build to their break up. interestingly, they DID win the IWGP Jr tag titles so it won't be immediate. Look fhr Shelley to take it-Sabin, while more experienced, doesn't need it at this point. Winner" Shelley. Tag Titles: Jay Lethal & CC Vs Beer Money, Inc Vs Abyss & Matt Morgan - I don't forsee this being the end of Jay and CC's title reign. I think they will drop it to a new team or perhaps to the MCMG (to add more to their eventual break up). Winners: Jay/CC TNA Knockout Title: Kong Vs ??? - We don't know who it is. They COULD use this to have someone get a win over Kong who is 'unprepared'. Or they could make Kong look more dominant. The latter is my guess with perhaps a rematchat the next PPV. Winner: Awesome Kong Sheik Vs Shane: I think we all know Shane is going to win it here. Winner: Shane I was speaking idiomatically. |
A bit of a note on Bischoff's rant towards Matt Hardy...
-He has a valid point regarding Jeff's recent suspensions. However, he went way overboard on the attack regarding Jeff's house. Then again...I suppose he's venting out still given what happen to WCW which was considered for a long time to be 'his house'. -It is debatable on whether they are smarter and more responsible. With regards to KNOWLEDGE about Steroids, perhaps (but not so much of not using them). Regarding responsibility, well, one pro wrestling magazine put it this way regarding Randy Orton's behavior "If you read just one pro wrestling book that goes into detail of what went down during the 70's and 80's, that makes Orton look like a boy scout", and Jeff didn't quite reach the "level" Orton did years back. -Bischoff is right that Matt should be grateful, but I am thinking more in terms of the economy and how the WWE let go quite a bit of talent. -I kinda dislike how Bischoff is going at Matt at the end about 'comparing life styles' when Bisch himself was never really a wrestler. If he had grown up in the business like others, then I might be more inclined to believe him. Matt didn't grow up in the business either but is a wrestler... How ya doing, buddy? |

Let's be fair though as many of the guys in the HOF deserve to be there. This year it is Steve Austin, last year it was Ric Flair, the year before was Bret hart (and Eddie Guerrero too as the sympathetic favorite), the year prior was Hulk Hogan (or was it two years prior?).
Of course, some guys are a joke (well,l one really, Pete Rose), but MANY were legitimate superstars. And speaking of guys who deserve to be in the HOF, I was thinking about Sting and then thinking of the latest news reports. Basically, enjoy watching Sting while you can...his legs are really giving him problems and it seems this year will truly be his last. I'm a bit sad to see it happen, being a "stinger" when I was younger, but happy that I got to watch 15 years worth of Sting. Oh, and note to Russo and Jarrett...if Sting is in this much trouble, the fans are going to rally with him that much more. Face it, no one is booing him and nearly every face you put against him gets booed out of the building. Turn him face. Oh, and another thing for the HOF. Trying to think of some future HOFers. Here are some that come to mind: HBK - The Ric Flair of the 90's and 2000's onward. He was the one who retired Ric, he was the man who has been apart of so many on stage and backstages groups, and he has put so many awesome matches in his career. He has innovative many things, and honestly brought the beginnings of the attitude era that Austin fully utilized and moved on with. HHH - The Ric Flair of the 2000's onward. Well, at least in reigns. i watched his DVD recently and the matches were awesome. It's amazing to think of all the guys he has faced, starting from Rock/Austin/Mankind/Undertaker going to RVD/HBK/Jericho to Batista/Edge/Cena. Theo nly guys who can currently elipse him are HBK and Undertaker. however, he has put a lot into the business and I feel at some point is going to tie Ric's record if not beat it. Undertaker - If Undertaker lasts another year and a half, he can say it's been a 'decade of destruction times two'. No one has been around in an active role longer in the WWE than Undertaker, and one has been able to mix together nostagalia and freshness to appeal to all fans. Cena - Like him or hate him, you have to admire how he has done. He's a four time champ with his third reign lasting over a year-a feat not done since Randy Savage almost twenty years ago. And given how the title scene is compared to the 60's,70's and 80's, that one year is like ten in those eras. he has consistently gotten better, his promos are fairly rational, and he has been able to face-and beat many of the top stars of the current era including Undertaker, HHH, HBK, Edge, Jeff Hardy, and so forth. Randy Savage - Savage was intense with his matches, his promos, his life. When you watched him go, he was believable. He has had victories over many of the best, and has had wonderful matches with Steamboat, Flair, Hart, and others. Whatever grudge Vince has against Savage should at least be put aside for his career accomplishments (unless it's THAT rumor in which well...) as Savage should be in. Rey Mysterio - The little engine that could. Rey was able to stand tall in a sport of giants. His revolution of the cruiserweights and just small wrestlers overall should not be forgotten. If it wasn't for him, no X-Division. He has had wonderful matches with many stars past and present, and even managed to hold the world title (even if it was a reign in which he lost just about each and every time). Rey rey deserves in. Ricky Steamboat - The ultimate good guy. So good he never turned bad. Ricky was a wonderful wrestler and had wonderful, technical matches. Even when he hurt his back facing Steve Austin, he still put on a great match and won the title to boot. His matches with Flair were awesome and his match against Savage is considered one of the all time greats. Mic Foley - In a lot of ways, the Dusty Rhodes of the late 90's. He didn't look like a 'star', he didn't have the impressive body, but what he could do was connect with the fans. Even as a heel, he was able to connect to them though some very effective promos. And he managed even to do it with four personalties, Mankind, Dude Love, Cactus Jack, and ultimately Mic Foley. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Lawler should be inthere as he did a lot in Memphis. JR...that's a bit of a stretch but they did put Golden Solie in there.
I think about the 'old days' quite often. Many times I want to somehow get a collection of what happened from the first Nitro and go with that and Raw until the end of WCW... Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I agree and it may be that will happen for the upcoming HOF. Heh, if only you had a server for that stuff Sonic.

And we say good-bye to another long-term WWE employee. Bob Holly is gone.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
So apparently Randy had an altercation with a fan. The fan said something bad to Orton, in which Orton responded with some bad language of his own and shoved the guard rail into the fan's legs. One report even said he also grabbed the fan's hat and threw it. Ouch. Not a good thing given how Orton is suppose to be the professional and everyone is saying he has totally changed for the better.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
And I guess you're right dagget given that Orton kicked Vince in the head. Well, unless they are doing a clever "suspension".
I was speaking idiomatically. |
That would be...weird. It would be a neat way to unify the titles though and include top contenders for the titles. In fact, it would be really neat if they had all three "world" titles, and all three "number one contenders". Could really make a star if one of the number one contenders unified them all.
Prediction time: 30 Man Royal Rumble Match Winner earns a World Title shot at WrestleMania 25 - Confirmed names: The Undertaker, Triple H, Big Show, WWE U.S. Champion Shelton Benjamin, Vladimir Kozlov, Kane, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, WWE Intercontinental Champion CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, World Tag Team Champion The Miz, World Tag Team Champion John Morrison, Finlay, Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Santino Marella, R-Truth, WWE Tag Team Champion Carlito, The Brian Kendrick, The Great Khali and Chavo Guerrero: There are seven spots open. Now, most feel Orton will win and honestly he is the best bet over everyone. My feeling? Well, see my thoughts below regarding Cena/JBL, but perhaps two of those surprise entrants are 1.) Christian and.....2.) Jeff Hardy. Christian would be unlikely because they'd set the 'getting revenge on Christian' angle off way too early. however, it would be shocking to see Jeff, who lost the title earlier, come out and win the Royal Rumble. And given how Jericho won his title in September, how an injured Bret Hart managed to co-win the Rumble in 94, and how they could give Jeff a late number, they could make it plausible. They could even then have Jeff stupidly giving up his title shot to go for Christian while having Triple H win the Elimination Chamber and hence a title shot. Winner: Jeff Hardy World Heavyweight Championship Match - John Cena (c) vs. JBL: They are playing with this a bit. Personally, I'd rather see JBL win the title IF it meant HBK beat him for him. HBK has a year left to go (according to himself). However, signs are pointing to Cena Vs Orton. I guess that's fine, but 1.) that has been done while HBK Vs JBL in a singles match is fresh, 2.) neither Cena or Orton need the title to their match, 3.) this would mean that a heel challenger would defeat a face champion for the first time on Mania since Wrestlemania 9 (and even then they had Hogan beat Yoki immediately afterwards to send the fans home happy), 4.) if they didn't have Orton win, he'd look like a chump. I could forsee it being Orton wins, then whoever wins MITB immediately challenges him and beats him for the title. That would be unexpected. At any rate, despite the fact that the WWE is pointing towards Orton Vs Cena, I forsee a few sudden "surprises". Winner: JBL WWE Championship Match - Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Edge: The world title matches (minus ECW) and the Royal Rumble are the hardest to call. I would MUCH rather see Jeff hold onto the title for a little longer so his title reign isn't seen as a 'fluke' or one of those 'give the dog a bone' things. However, him losing it at NWO and then Edge losing it to Triple H at Mania isn't good for the title either. I'd MUCH rather see Jeff hang onto the title till Mania but with the recent happens, it seems the WWE has other plans. Look for a screwy finish with PERHAPS the return of Christian. Winner: Edge ECW Championship Match - Jack Swagger (c) vs. Matt Hardy: No way Matt is going to win it here. Winner: Jack Swagger WWE Women's Championship Match - Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Melina: This isn't Melina's time. Yet. Candice Michelle has supposedly been trying out a heel turn on house shows so if that goes through, that then leaves Melina as the top face. However, that's if Beth doesn't turn face too in which in my opinion, is inevitable. Winner: Beth Phoenix What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

So, word on the street is they are quickly setting up Randy Orton's wrestlemania program against...
Spoiler:
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Basically, both those names failed.
Hedoesn't wantt o work with Hogan because he feels that it won't be a good match. They were thinking of a Rock Vs Austin reunion match and contacted the Rock in which the results were basically a 'no deal'. Normally, I'd throw this rumor into the wind but it supposedly came from the Wrestling Observer which is probably as "legit" as rumors go. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
So...um...there goes Jericho?
Report from a fan who saw Jericho go ballistic after being shoved/attacked/provoked by some fans that included him shoving fans out of the way, punching a couple in the face, punching one woman in the face, getting into the arena security's faces and shoving them as well. The woman who got punched in the face is pressing charges against Jericho. "Here is what actually happened, as my girlfriend and I were literally 5 feet away from the altercation (the total incident was about 5 minutes) and saw the whole thing happen. Here's what happened: This afternoon after the WWE house show in Victoria, my girlfriend and I went to see the wrestlers leave the arena (this was my girlfriend's first WWE event and she wanted to see them leave). The following is exactly what happened right in front of me and about another 50 wrestling fans who happened to be there are well: Chris Jericho exited the building, and walked over to his white rental vehicle. The crowd watching him leave was heckling him, but he was ignoring it. He gets in his vehicle and drives out of the arena parking lot, right past the crowd of us. As Jericho stops at a stop sign, a fan runs into the street and starts banging on his rental vehicle. At this point about 50 people rush into the middle of the intersection, blocking traffic in several directions, with no police and very inadequate and incompetent security (no WWE security guards period). My girlfriend and I were literally in the very front of the crowd, and this all went down literally five feet away from us. Chris Jericho opens the door to his vehicle in the middle of the road, and the fan shuts the door back on him. Jericho then gets out of the vehicle completely, and punches the fan in the face! This prompts another fan to jump in (he was friends with the first) and attack Jericho, and Jericho scuffles with the second guy. At this point, a woman who knows the second guy who attacked Jericho starts to jump in and get in Jericho's face (because he was fighting her friend). This is where the Save on Foods Rent-A-Security Guards stopped standing around watching this happen (I swear they thought they were watching a wrestling angle or something), and stepped in to separate Jericho and the woman, who was shoving him. Looking at Jericho's face he was obviously ready to explode and was restraining himself...but then the shitstorm happened... He spit in the girl's face, and called her a "fu*king bitch". The woman then spit in Jericho's face. Jericho then started cursing out the woman some more, and was getting ready to go back into his vehicle (as all of this is still happening in the middle of the road). While he was turning to go into his vehicle, one of the guys he was fighting shoved Jericho against his car. Another guy then shoved Jericho, and that time he bumped his head on the top of his vehicle. This was where Jericho seriously snapped. After bumping his head, Jericho went into a sh*tstorm, throwing and swinging at everybody around him. He knocked one guy to the ground, told another fan that he was going to "fu*king kill you". The woman who got spit on was still yelling at Jericho, so he piefaced her away from him (because the arena security couldn't keep them separated). As soon as he put his hands on the woman, ANOTHER fan jumps in and starts swinging at Jericho. Jericho grabs the guy and starts throwing him to the ground, and at this point I have to yank my girlfriend out of the way and into some other people because Jericho had literally thrown himself and the other guy into our direction and we would of been knocked down by the scuffle. The arena security try again at this point to regain order, and two of them grab Jericho and start yelling at him to calm down, to which Jericho responds by taking a swing at one of the security guards and yelling at them to "do your fu*king job and get the fu*king police here". Then he shoves the second guard to the ground and tells him to "stay the fu*k off me". Well, as that happens, the chick lunges at Jericho AGAIN, and this time Jericho actually punches the woman in the face, and shoves her to the ground. This stunned everyone, and the girl's friends ended up jumping in trying to fight Jericho, to which he fought all of them off, then storms into his vehicle swearing and speeds off, running through a stop sign in the process. This whole thing happened over the span of about 5 minutes (of the street being blocked by this ordeal), and the woman ended up calling the cops on Jericho. They arrived 5 minutes after Jericho left, complete with a Paddy Wagon. The WWE's head of security did not see the incident, so he was there trying to figure out what happened along with the cops at the same time while yapping on his cell phone, and the woman is pressing charges against Jericho. As crazy and unbelievable this sounds, it can all be backed up with whatever police report was filed on the scene this afternoon. I hope this made sense, as a lot of stuff happened. If you have any questions or need clarification, just ask. This was taped by several people with cell phone cameras, but there were only 50 people down there so I hope the video makes it way to the internet. Regardless, this went down as one of the craziest things I have ever seen in my life (even if it didn't involve Chris Jericho), and Jericho could be in some serious legal trouble over this one; although he was provoked, he seriously snapped and crossed the line." I guess we all have a bad day to say the least. Jericho was sorta in the right up to the point where he took a swing at one of those in security. The thing with the woman is unclear (the person said she lunged at her. Unclear as lunged can mean one is attacking another) but if it wasn't anything more than verbal than Jericho went over the line. Edit: I looked at one video and it looked like the one woman Jericho punched pulled him out of the car or tugged at him or grabbed him or something. If this is true, then in theory Jericho could say he was defending himself (think to the days of old when fans hid knives and the like). There's nowhere I can't reach.
