[DS] How do you get 3,000 pikachus on a bus? POKEMON!

Well, they kinda showed off the new release ones.

Either way, I have high hopes about the game. Despite using the same equation over and over again, it's still a really good formula. Hopefully they still have that whole concept of becoming something different other than just a Pokemon master... Like a Gym Trainer, or a Breeder or something. Just something different.

Wi-fi would be a great addition too. Online battling would just complete the Pokemon series and seriously make the game flawless. And hopefully we have more regions to look around with. Like going to Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn. That would just complete the series and i'd finally be a happy trainer.

Eh, i'm just considering them new because they haven't been released in any of the recent Pokemon games.

Anyway, i'm hoping just as much as anyone that new Pokemon are released in this game. Who wouldn't want new ones?

I wouldn't be surprised at all of the last one was a Grass/Poison type or something... Kinda like Bulbasaur.

Middle one looks like your fire type... No other combo I could tell from that.

Top one looks like your Chinchou combo of Lightning/Water.

Most likely, they're not gonna break the chain. This time, they're probably not going to make it as obvious. But if there's anything they've completely broken in the chain of starter Pokemon, it's this.

Making all of them look cute. That last one is far from winning a cute competition.

If you set the Button Mode to START = X in the options menu, you can also use the start button to open the menu.

I haven't even started my game, but I read yelling "Gotcha!" into the mike will double your chances of catching a Pokemon. But you have to yell it the moment the ball comes in contact with the Pokemon.

Anyway, I'm still really undecided about my team. I've gotten as far as choosing a 5th, but not much after that.

Luxray (57)
Empoloen (59)
Infernape (59)

I'm trying to get my Riolu into a Lucario, but I train him to quickly and he misses most of his good attacks around Level 20. So I have to figure out a different plan. <_<

The search isn't restricted to D/P Pokemon. After the National Dex is obtained, it expands on what you can find in the GTS. I uploaded a couple of my starters from FireRed, and now I can search for them.

As I said, put up a Pikachu, you could save the Charmander or something more valuable. As long as the Pokemon you're looking for can breed, they're not hard to obtain, so people can throw it away at their heart's content.

I took all of last night and some of today raising a Lucario I hatched the other day. It's level 42 right now, and I'm just trying to even out my team at the moment.

Can anyone recommend a good move set for Lucario? At the moment, I have:

- Reversal
- Swords Dance
- Aura Sphere
- Psychic

It's a stupid process, probably designed to prevent cheating. I'm not sure why this rigamarole is necessary since Hidden Moves can't be used unless the owner has the corresponding badge. It's not like you could acquire a Pokemon with Surf over the GTS, then travel to forbidden areas.

Nobody told me all this, so it took me several days to figure out what the game meant when it said my Swampert knew a Hidden Move and couldn't be transported. I thought it was saying that the moveset was no longer possible, and therefore illegal, in D/P.

Well, it is possible to get HM moves over the GTS though. My Piplup came with it.
