Mass Effect 2 - 40 Points
I forget that this game was released in 2010. 1. Probably because it was towards the earlier end of it. 2. Around that time, I didn't really care too much about Mass Effect. So these past few months, I finally got back to playing Mass Effect and finished it up. Loved the story, borrowed the 2nd game from my friend and immediately finished that one. Easily one of the best games I've ever played and I could probably include this in my favorite series list as well. So much so that I bothered to beat both games twice already. However, one being a "let's get through this run" and the other one being a proper Paragon one. Although, both ended up being Paragon runs. <__< Anyway, The story is engaging, punching al-Jilani is always a blast, and I'll always have the worst man-crush on Garrus. Recettear - 30 points Aside from MMOs, I've never sat at my computer longer playing a PC game. This had an undeniable amount of charm attached to it. Even if this course of action happened: Sell for 130% > "CAN YOU GO LOWER" > Sell for 130% "I CAN BUY IT FOR THAT. WHAT A GREAT DEAL." Also, that little girl is poor as hell and shouldn't be in my store. ![]() DJMAX Portable 3 15 points I know there's no way in hell this game is getting top spot, but I figured it's worth a mention. Being the second DJMAX game released here in the US, it comes back looking sleeker than ever and packed with an amazing soundtrack. I could honestly listen to this whole soundtrack over and over again and never get bored of it. With the two remix modes they added to spice up the standard gameplay modes, it brings more challenge to what already worked for the series. Although, they really shouldn't be adding scratches and other things to rock songs. It just doesn't work out that well. Regardless, of it's tedious grinding and huge amount of bugs (which was patched ONLY for Korea a couple days ago), I still love this game to death somehow. Heavy Rain - 5 points Although I only played this through a friend whenever I was at his place, I like a lot of this game just by watching it. I was a pretty big fan of Indigo Prophecy and this one won me over as well. It definitely felt a little more real since it didn't have all those crazy sci-fi elements. And Jason is a cunt for wanting that red balloon and wandering around like that. ![]() Dragon Quest IX - 5 points Your typical Dragon Quest game, but finally adding western elements of making your own character, making this game MMOish, and still staying true to a JRPG formula. Liked it a lot from what I've played. AAI: Miles Edgeworth - 5 points Lang. <3 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Edited my list a little bit, just to note.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
