Shuckle is has the best defense (both ways) in the game. If Ninja over there didn't choose him, I would've taken him in a heartbeat.
Ramparados, on the other hand, has the best base attack stat in game. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

But with Kairyu, that's kind of expected of him to actually take Dragonite. You know, since Dragonite in Japanese is Kairyu.

I pretty much have half my team set up as it is, so prep time shouldn't be as long as the other tournament was for me. Probably the only ones I gotta set up are Garchomp, Flygon, and Aerodactyl. Shouldn't take me very long at all. Jam it back in, in the dark. |

Either way, it's more important that you have the moveset set up and the Pokemon ready. The Internet will do the rest for you by booting them up to level 100.

I honestly would've taken Arcanine considering next to Lucario, he's next in line for my favorite Pokemon.
The only problem is that his move set isn't extremely deep. Same with Kingdra. I was expecting him to get taken somewhere, but I'm surprised there were no biters. I was speaking idiomatically. |
