It depends which theater I go to.
There are two theaters in my area, a crappy one close to me, but still reliable, and a far away one that actually has baseball stadium seating.
In the crappy one, I usually aim dead center, but if someone's already occupying it, I tend to aim for the side seats near a speaker so I could hear every explosion in my action movie accordingly.
In the nice one, I always aim for one of the upper rows towards the center. It gives me a better vantage point to watch the movie.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
