[General Discussion] Guess the Videogame Thread

If Anime could have one, I don't see why we can't... Almost the same rules as the Anime Screenshot thread, but a couple differences...

And that Sphinx screen, it took people two pages and three hints for them to figure it out. If you ever saw their responses, you would've thought, "What the hell" also.

I get what you're saying.

Well, half the time, if it's hard game, it requires a confirmation. If you're the one who posted the pic, and you confirmed it's right, just say it's right, get the score list, and update the list. If you're dead confident you got it, update the score list, then post your picture in the same post.

This is how it worked for me somewhere else. Except everything needed confirmation. Anyone prefer it that way regardless of how easy the game is?

Don't be a hater, Iwata. This isn't about video game tastes, all we're asking people to do is post a screenshot for entertainment purposes. Taste has nothing to do with it.

If you wanna post, Elixir, go ahead. Being the thread creator, I should have some sort of say in this.

Eh, I trust you're nice, Iwata, but I have no ill-will towards Elixir, so you saying that he's an ass means nothing to me. I'll believe it when he starts directing stuff towards me, but other than that, I respect him, hopefully he'll respect me back.

Just don't drag hate into this thread, this is supposed to be a fun, lax topic about posting screenshots and guessing them. It shouldn't matter what taste in games the person has. They could even post something outside their likeness just to surprise and confuse everyone about the game.

After someone guesses the screen correctly, the person who posted the screen shot has to confirm it and then post the updated score. I seriously don't want to be the only one doing this.

As for the whole mainstream thing, I meant just mixing it up a little bit. Not every screen has to be an obscure and rare game. Just post some games so it's friendly for all users to join in. It might kill some of you that some games are ridiculously easy, but we're not all as hardcore as you three. We don't need to start another thread for just the mainstream games alone.

Either way, you can post like 3 obscure games and then 1 mainstream or something. Just mix it up a little bit.

Either way, people have different definitions of mainstream, so the mainstream thread might not even help at all.
