Everything I heard about a G/S remake was a rumor, but I'm thinking this one is fake also.

An elaborate fake, I might add.

But who knows, I'd want a remake of it. As long as you can travel to Hoenn along with Kanto, I'm sold on it.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I've seen it... I personally don't see the point of it though.

Wow, it's been ages since people have posted in here. <_<

I can't exactly battle, but the last good thing that happened in my game was that special edition Manaphy that Toys R Us was offering... So that means, the last time I played was in September. <_<

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm all over that. Just got myself a new AR for the DS a couple months ago.

Crash, if you still desperately need one, I could fork over the 300 I have. <_<

I tried chaining... That shit is horrible. I don't know how people could possibly get a shiny in about three chains.

It's bullshit I tell you. Bullshit!

In Diamond, managed to balance out my team a little and rework some movesets.
In Pearl, just started playing a couple weeks ago... My team as of now:

Lucario (35) [Traded from Diamond]
Monferno (32)
Shinx (24)

I still need to get the 4th badge, but once my school life calms down, I'll get back to it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Get that Lucario to the daycare. Might as well get your own Riolu. Also, Shinx sucks. Err, Luxray sucks.

Or does he get good once he's in the 70s? Seriously the thing never learns jack shit.
My Lucario's fine. I traded an Egg into the game, so it is mine. And as a Generic said, I do have some sort of unhealthy obsession with Luxray. It's stats so far are fine, but I'm leaving it as a mixed sweeper.

For my Pearl game, I just need to get a decent Flying Pokemon and get some defensive Pokemon on my team... Which will most likely be Blissey when that Egg of mine hatches from that hiker.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Something tells me we should have another tournament, just for the hell of it again. <.<

I still haven't had enough time to continue training in Pearl... I'll probably work a little on it tonight.

if you've got shiny pokemon with a 10 iv for every category it's almost certainly hacked
Obviously, they don't know how to hack Pokemon then. :|

I haven't caught any shiny Pokemon since Gold, which was a Nidoran (F) that I evolved to a Nidoqueen since then. It really pisses me off though that my luck really runs that short.

And I've tried to chain Pokemon using the radar. I've gotten to a 30 chain, but no luck on my part. I've seen people get 3 chains and suddenly get a shiny afterwards.

WHERE THE HELL IS MY LUCK? I'm gonna go play my Pearl game and work with my team.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

To my guess, as soon as possible. Since EV points contribute to your stats, you would want to get your stats at the highest point possible.

Crash could probably give you a better time frame though.

That never really stopped me from entering with a team consisting of Flying-types. Almost everyone had an answer to my team, but it was fun trying to act as a psuedo Gym Leader in some of the rounds. Nothing was at risk anyway.
Except me. I was fucked against your team since mine was so slow... And you're the only person in the world that I know who actually put Screech to use in battle. ;_;

And just a random toss-up for ideas... How about we all draw for our types? Each type is associated with a number, and whatever number you choose, that's your type you have to use for the tournament. Dual-types are accepted.

Although with that, it seems more logical to do a round-robin thing again...

I'm definitely up for whatever tournament you guys wanna do though. I'd love to get another reason to work with my Diamond Team again. I've been on and off with my Pearl team and that one is nowhere near ready.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Neither do Flying types. They're all part Normal with that being their primary, oddly enough.

Speaking of legendaries, you just reminded me about the Darkrai event.

The Toys R Us event is this coming May 31st-June 1st from Noon-4 pm.

Gotta jump on that. I got Manaphy that way also.

How ya doing, buddy?

So... Has anyone seen that official Pokemon Tournament that's being held? Otherwise known as the Pokemon Video Game Showdown? It's supposed to pit the best of the United States and Japan against each other... Boy, I wonder who's gonna win?

I was reading their rules and regulations and I couldn't help but laugh at some of their rules.

This is where I chuckled:

Each Pokémon on a player’s team must be level 50 or lower.

Each Pokémon on a player’s team may use held items, though no 2 Pokémon on a team may hold the same item. Players may change held items between rounds. Allowed items include held items from Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl, and earlier video games, including Berries 1-60. The Soul Dew item may not be used.

Players may not enter two Pokémon with the same nickname.

Players may not enter a Pokémon nicknamed with the name of another Pokémon character (ex: a Lucario nicknamed “Spiritomb”).

Players found to have inappropriate/offensive Trainer names or Pokémon nicknames, as determined by the event staff, will be disqualified from the event.
Here's where I laughed:

Dragonite and Tyranitar banned from an official tournament? Ha! And the Level 50 rule? That's what made the Gamestop Tournament so funny also, but at least they used Battle Revolution, so you COULD even out everything no matter what level they were.

Here's the official website if you wanna check it out: Pokémon Video Game Showdown

Oh, not even, Miles.

When I went to the Manaphy event, the place was pretty much empty. Probably because I don't think many kids actually know about the event. Unless they find out about this stuff online from friends and actually visiting Pokemon related sites, they're usually clueless.

When I got Manaphy, I literally walked in inches from the entrance, turned my game on, got the Pokemon and walked out. It doesn't really take long at all.

Then again, you do live in California. Might be different from what goes on here in Jersey.

It's probably exactly the same as the Manaphy Event.

But the thing about this event is that you get the item that is required to get Darkrai.

That's why I said, Generic, walk in, stand near the entrance, take the DS out, get the item, make your way towards exit, and leave without barely doing anything in the store.
