EVERYONE gets the Smash Ball with PK Thunder. You AND CN's brother.

You have no idea how annoying it is to have the Smash Ball right next to you ready for the destrcution, then have it suddenly taken away by a fly-by PK Thunder. ;_;

I was speaking idiomatically.

Just gone done with some matches with Kagosin. Spiking with Falco is still as fun as ever.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

With CN? I dunno. I always seem to have problems playing against him. Either I don't get in, or when I do get in, it's slightly laggy.

Anyone else seems to be perfectly fine. I only experienced a slight bit of lag facing Kagosin, but my matches against Summon went off without a hitch.

Holy shit. I could use some nice stages on my game. :3

I just need to make a couple of crap ones so I could unlock more parts.

Jeez, I need to start recording some stuff when I get online. ;_;

But I like Olimar a lot. Someone I wouldn't get too serious as a character with, but someone I'd use for good back up when I've used everyone else.

Today's Update: Flat Zone 2 and the Music for the stage.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Nah, it wasn't too hard. At least not as bad as say Event 23. It took me a good 10 tries to get it right D:.
Oh god, I hated that one. ;_;

I remember actually getting into the pod, only to be KOed by Falcon JUST before it closed.

I managed to complete all the events though. On Normal, at least. A couple I've done on Hard, but I'll get to that later.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

20 Challenges or so left on the Challenge wall.

All stuff I do not want to do or have not been able to do (50 hours of brawling, 5000 KOs, beat 100-man brawl with everyone.. etc etc).
I ended up smashing some of the decent ones with the hammer. Basically, the ones you mentioned.

Plus, if there was a hammer behind it. I smashed it. So I wouldn't lose a damn thing.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I tried that one. Failed horribly. And Skills, in retrospect, that was a bad fucking idea.

But if you do attempt to break an unbreakable hammer, do you end up losing the hammer?

The 5 people in Cruel Brawl is easy... it is the

Spoiler:
10 people in Cruel Brawl

that made me angry.

So any tips on how to easily beat the crap out of those alloys in Cruel Melee? Using DK totally doesn't work.

Getting very lucky with Ike!

I've seen a video on how to do it with Kirby/Ike/Marth/etc without getting too badly harmed, but it is totally cheap.

It involves doing this (video inside):

Easiest but Cheapest way to beat Cruel Brawl (works with various others):

I am slowly working on the Collect all Stickers and Collect all Trophies challenges.

Very slowly. For I have little desire to fight the SSE bosses waiting for those trophy bases >_>;
Oh, I remember doing that with Roy in Melee. I actually manged to get 21 KOs one time just based on the knockback from his Up+B.

Most amazing jew boots

I'm probably gonna cry trying to get the boss trophies.

Well, I managed to try out that little trick. Got 7 KOs using Fox.

So DN has Toon Link story, losing twice.

Griff has a Jigglypuff story, losing twice.

I have a Wolf story, losing twice.

Mine is more embarrassing since I ended up just getting KOed by him normally... When he had just the same amount of health as I did.

Also, does anyone know if there are extra options in Brawl mode? You know, being able to decide what stages end up on random... Or even just turning Friendly Fire on. It honestly sucks not being able to hit your teammate. T_T

I unlocked some extra options by playing a bunch of brawls and friendly fire was there. I don't know if you can choose which stages appear in random, but I have to assume it would be included since it was in melee (although I'm not sure how you unlock it).
That sounds good then. I would be awfully pissed if Friendly Fire wasn't available...

On another note, I'd spam Brawl matches out, but it's so boring playing alone. I probably won't be able to face any of my friends until the weekend... Tomorrow probably the earliest, but I dunno.

Hopefully they unlocked all the characters... I really don't feel like dragging my Wii around just to play as Wolf.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, I know that, but I don't wanna destroy my friend's data by replace it with my own. I'll make them work for their stuff.

After you unlock all the stages (just finished), you can choose which ones you want to appear with random select (same place where you find friendly fire).
Oh, very nice then. So all the extra options are back from Melee. That's a good thing.

Decided to do some Home Run Contests a little while ago to earn some trophies... Managed to get up to a 30,000 total so far.

And Sousuke, that tap down to fall faster thing still exists. Unlike the other versions, you need to wait until you no longer have any vertical movement upward. When you start falling, then you could tap down to fall faster it. Tested it out a while ago.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I maxed out at about 1600... Still pretty annoying to get. <_<

Today's update: Hidden Masterpieces... Basically just talks about how you can unlock certain games in Brawl.

Once they have it on their list? A good majority of the people I added on the first day registered the moment I had put in their friend code in.

I don't see the big deal about Spectator Mode anyway... Tried it once, won 84 coins after betting on a Fox vs. Ness match. I bet on Fox for the match. The sad part was, however, the person playing Ness didn't know how to recover using PK Thunder. I just see him launch it and see the PK Thunder flying upwards while he falls down off the arena. :|

So I just tried some online Smash yesterday. First things first, is the service somewhat slow at times? At best, all of my inputs happen a half second later. At worst, the game literally slows down (to like 20 frames per second). I also found it taking a while to actually get a game going, as far as finding people to play against.

I'll put my friend code up when I get back. I wrote it down earlier. I also can't seem to sign up for the Wiki, so if somebody could add mine there for me, that'd be great.
I've noticed that a lot too, but to me it's tolerable... It's those moments when the match is completely engulfed in lag that bothers me to no end.

As far as finding people, you're even lucky if you manage to find someone these days because the servers are so overloaded. Ironically for me, the matches I do get into are usually the most lag free games I've played without that half-second delay.

Done. And just for future reference, so I could possibly add them all later:

For anyone who posted up JUST their friend code, can you tell me the profile name that you associate with that friend code? In other words, if there's no profile name next to your code in the Wiki, post it up here so I could put them in.

A good majority of the time whenever someone finally gets registered I usually don't have the foggiest idea who the hell they are after the name changes.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Today's Update: More Secret Melee Stages (Jungle Japes, Green Greens, Pokemon Stadium and Big Blue)

Kinda threw me off when they brought back Green Greens instead of Fountain of Dreams... Fountain of Dreams was awesome.

Reading the update and thinking about it, since I haven't unlocked this stage yet... Didn't Jungle Japes suddenly become easy to deal with since you could actually swim in this game, or does the water rush too fast that there's no time to recover?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I wish the music for Fountain of Dreams was in the game.

And I wish I could put Bramble Scramble on the custom stages.
I thought Fountain of Dreams was in the game... I believe it ended up on the soundtrack...

And I love that track also (I thought it was called Bramble Blast?). Probably one of the best in the game.

Speaking of in-game CDs, isn't it horrible when they drop a CD on the stage, and you literally have a split second to react and pick it up?

The moment it hits the floor, it's ready to disappear. What's worse, most of the CD they slap on me are on the other side of the stage. ;_;

I should REALLY move my Wii out of the attic. A good majority of my games are pretty laggy and having a DSL connection REALLY isn't helping at all.

There's probably a whole floor level difference between my router and my Wii, so if any of the game I've played have been laggy, I apologize.

It's weird though, CN. I'm on the East Coast also, but EVERY match I face against either you or your brother seems to be really laggy. I've tried facing your brother with my system probably inches away from my router. Still laggy.

Probably tomorrow, I could face some of you with a good connection since I'll be chillin' at my friend's house and he has a pretty strong connection. What time? I dunno, I'll specify tomorrow.

I was speaking idiomatically.
