I think pretty much everyone likes the Temple level.

Well, for the most part, I never liked the stage. The bastards I know who have absolutely no skill would fight for this stage because they could camp out for extended periods of time. And neither one of us would make the first move. <_<

And my friends chose this stage for the Fire Emblem music you'd occasionally get. Worst fucking reason ever to choose this stage.

If anything, bring back the first Pokemon Stadium. It goes hand in hand with the second one.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

My response to Nate: "You're a fucking pussy for using items."

Anyway, they really are just milking it now.

::sigh::

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME OUT TODAY. ARGH.

lol Well, it can't be helped Chaotic. As much as I'd also like it to come today as well. The game wouldn't be totally finished. Plus that only some of the features would be implemented. And only at 22 characters.

Wouldn't you want this game in it's finished stage. With like 30 or so characters and all features.
Yeah, I know. But to think, when May rolled around, this is the day we were all hoping for.

I highly doubt, for some reason, that they're going to bring back Jigglypuff, which was widely regarded as one of the worst characters in the game. I'll be happy if they bring back Jigglypuff with the same move set, but I highly doubt it. THEN AGAIN (disclaimer here) I'm just a pessimist. And yes, I have heard about some of the developers making a mention of Jiggylpuff here and there, but I'm just still skeptical.

Mewtwo is the worst character in the game.

Either way, Jigglypuff is way too good of a character to lose. Either way, she's been the first easy unlock ever since the first one, so I don't see why she wouldn't return under the same conditions.

And I doubt her moveset would change much... There's not a whole lot you could change off of that anyway.

Yes, and I respect your opinion.

But I actually like using the Ice Climbers... Ever since I learned how to wavedash, they've been a crapload of fun to use since you could just glide across the stage with them.

But taking that tier list to heart, I do have to agree that Mewtwo is horrible. Worst Down+A smash attack in the game since it only goes in one direction, and for being one of the most powerful Pokemon in the game, he's KOed awfully easy.

I suppose that people complain that she's too light. Because she can easily be knocked out, means that she doesn't stand much of a chance fighting in battle.

I know, if used correctly, Jigglypuff is a beast. After watching a combo video, it's proved that she's even more a beast in battle.

Oh~ how it is to implement the Rest ability consistently.

Today's Update:

They just talk about returning Pokemon.

Suicune, Lugia, Entei, Staryu, Bellossom, Ho-oh, Wobbuffet, Togepi, Snorlax, Celebi, and Mew.

Because Celebi and Mew are so rare, they have a chance of dropping a present also.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I really hope that there's a seperate option to turn off Pity Final Smashes or at least set an outrageous point limit for them to activate without turning off the Smash Balls. If a player sucks, they suck. Don't give them something to turn the battle around that required zero skill on their part.
It's why I never understood why the game needed handicaps... But even if the player has the Pity Smash, it still doesn't change the fact they suck. Even with that, a horrible decision will be made and roffles all around when the player with the Pity Smash executes the move on the side nobody is on.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I don't see why they wouldn't return Falcon anyway... They even mention him in Goroh's post. Seems a little illogical if you add someone and not add the person they're rivaling to begin with...

Why does Dedede look like He-Man after he had the power? <_<

Anyway, I guess it's cool... I could imagine them wasting an update pretty soon explaining Kirby's Final Smash.

Chaotic, I dunno where've you been (in terms of updates). But they already explained Kirby's Final Smash a while back.

I don't think that they'll re-touch upon a character's Final Smash attack again. Besides the pictures pretty much give out the explanation. And I quote from Smash Dojo;

Spoiler:

The cook puts on his hat!

He takes out a giant pot!

Dinner’s ready! He rings his bell.

He tosses his enemies into the pot...

Simmers them gently and deliberately...

OK! Order up!

Once you take out the stock, your enemy gets blasted off.

But is that a real dish? Something like stone soup, maybe? Can you put just anything in there? Are you sure?
Wow, I'm so out of it.

It makes me think if Bonsly is going to be heavy for everyone. Kinda the same story with the crates and how Bowser and DK have an easier time traveling with them.

I'm sure that 33 lbs. would be easier for some people. <_<

Angry with today's update, it's basically something that people have been doing with five or more people surrounding a Gamecube since... Ya know, like every game... Anyway, it's a rotation system. You note how many people are playing, how many spectators there are, log them in with profile names, then set the rules for the rotation.

Nothing that common sense can't do. Four people, one person sits out, first one dead passes the controller.

Oh yes, a rotation system. Like we haven't been doing that without the option for years now with billions of other games.

As far as updates are going, I could care less if some of them were bad if at least ONE update was good in that week. I could deal with four bad ones and a one to break the internet with, but when you've been dragging it for about three weeks, then it starts getting ridiculous.

And don't you mean "a grain of salt"?

Can I offically say "What the hell" now?

An explanation of the Options menu.

Deflicker Options... Rumble Options... Sound Options... Sound Test... SIGH.

I know you've heard enough of my bitching, but I don't think anyone could be happy about this update, even if you were sarcastic with it. :|

Y HALO THAR F-ZERO GRAND PRIX!

Not really, it's Mario Circuit. It's the F-Zero Grand Prix stage from Melee, just done in Mario Kart format.

[killer already has the pictures on lockdown.]

Cool stage, but it's totally unoriginal.

Oh curses, being a minute late.

Regardless if you're talking about Mute City or Big Blue, it's a totally different stage. Mute City picked up and moved every so often while in Big Blue, battles actually took place on top of vehicles. Here, the battle stays in the same spot and vehicles run players over from the side as opposed to riding on top of them.

The only similarity it has with F-Zero Grand Prix either stage is that vehicles come in from the background to run players over.

All that aside, I will have to say that being able to see the position of the vehicles on the screen in the background is a nice touch.
More or less of the same stuff anyway. I still like the stage a lot though. Cool stuff.

Would be cool if they toss in your occasional Mario Kart character when they're not being used in battle. Like Mario, Bowser, Peach, and all of them. Each would have their own special twist when you get hit...

Mario burning you up.
Peach would infatuate you with hearts or something.
Bowser's hit would just be more powerful since he's heavier.

Something like that.

Sheesh, the day I sleep 13 hours is the only day I seem to miss something in ths tread.

Pretty cool update though, Stafy is a bundle of random joy, and Waluigi isn't going to be an actual character.

You do realize what message board you're on, right? Where swearing can be found in every single forum?

I found it funny.

In any case, I'm glad Waluigi isn't playable. This should keep his annoyance to a minimum. Starfy is neat. He seems pretty versatile, although I can't be sure that's he's a lot different from Staryu.
I was thinking more along the lines of Starly (that bird Pokemon from D/P)... Names sound too similar.

And seriously, who minds swearing in forums these days? Fuck that shit.

Pretty cool update. Co-Op Events.

Now it's even easier to beat certain events. The set is almost completely different from the single player set. Some are just changes from the original, the others are completely new events.

And Coin Battles are back... That mode was so useless.

And Target Smash is co-op also.

Co-Op Events:

This time, Event matches can be played in two-player mode! Wow. This is a great game for couples.

When you press the Player 2 button here...

The two-player Events begin!

These are not battles—they’re cooperative play. So, you tackle the challenge of each Event together.

There are fewer two-player Events than single-player ones, but they each have different settings than the single-player matches.

<Two Trouble Kings>

Characters: Mario, Kirby
Battle together against Bowser and King Dedede!
This is a proper 2-on-2 match.

<Master the Pokémon Tag Battle>

Characters: Pokémon Trainer, Pikachu

This features Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, and Pikachu.
It’s a tag battle with pretty much equal teams!

<Fastest, Shortest, Sudden Death>

Characters: Yoshi, King Dedede

Defeat the most enemies in just 10 seconds!!

<ALL MINE!>

Characters: Wario, Bowser
C-could this be a Coin battle?! With lots of bills...

That reminds me, there are Coin battles this time around, too. When you launch an opponent, you collect their money. The player with the most money at the end wins.

The fact that it isn’t bloodthirsty is nice.

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier that you can play Target Smash!! with two players simultaneously as well!

Oh! I see! Delegation of duties is important!

How ya doing, buddy?
