Suit yourself then.
One less person I gotta add. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I have my set characters. Specifically, one for 1v1s and one for brawls. Both are Falco and Fox respectively.
I have a rotation myself, but lately, I've just been playing on random with my friends because I can't decide on a character to use. ![]() And I'm still using the Gamecube Controller. It's the one I'm still the most familiar with and when I switch to another one, my skill level drops horribly. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Down+A (Smash) - Fox's ground split kick Down+A (Tilt [not at the same time]) - Fox's tail swipe You get different attacks. I was speaking idiomatically. |
A meteor smash has the same properties of a spike, but is not as powerful as one. An opponent can easily recover from it if they react quick enough.
Falco's Side+B is a meteor smash if the opponent is hit. His D-air is a spike given that a sweet spot is hit sending them directly down. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
FELIPE NO |
My community of friends actually LIKES playing by tournament rules a majority of the time. By no means do we take it seriously to the point we're gonna compete in pro tournaments, but we use it to evaluate who is better than each other, kinda setting ourselves up in a ranking system.
I play as Falco, a top tier character, and throughout all my friends, I'm probably slapped somewhere in the middle of all my friends. I know how to play as him, but my lack of good dodging skills always screws me over. The current "champ" of all my friends? He mains Captain Falcon, currently considered the worst character in the game. My occasionally we'll play with items, but they hate it whenever I choose Star Fox characters. I don't really need to explain why. ![]() What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
You basically have the jist of it, Kanzaki, but it's not limited to aerial attacks. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
We all have our lives to attend to and when you're surrounded by people who don't have as much interest in the game as you do, it kinda plagues on. Most of my friends will still play this with me, but not with the same seriousness of Melee.
And unlike SmashBoards or GameFAQs, we're not heavy on tournaments. When that happens or when someone wants to generate some interest in some weekend matches, we talk about it here. Otherwise, there's nothing to talk about. It's a pretty normal occurance for many games. Don't see why Brawl should be immune to it. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
As I said, the tournament would probably fall under standard tournament rules (3 stock, 8 minutes, No items, certain stages... That deal). It was a free-for-all tournament last time and I just want to see how people work with certain restrictions this time around. I'm interested to get the replay hack to work also... Had my system Twilight Hacked, but got rid of it. ![]() Yeah, I know I'm crazy. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
