At most, the highest salary the highest-ranking people at my work can make is about $1 million (this is JP Morgan Chase). The average MLB scrub makes about two a half times that for sitting on the bench and drinking gatorade. Good players make up to 25 times that.
I'm looking for steady work that pays $35,000-$40,000 per year. MLB players sometimes make that per hit! So, uh, yeah...Best part is definitely the money. Any athelete who says otherwise is lying, I believe. At least as far as baseball players go. Jam it back in, in the dark.
