Villains in RPGs, that you just couldn't wait to put in their place.

I'll second Algus. Snobbery (especially considering Delita spent much of his time HELPING him) + murder = die fucker. They probably should've let him go and made him more of a recurring character in FFT...Wailing on him was the most satisfying moment of that game.

But the Suikoden series probably featured the best villains I couldn't wait to see die. The flowery guy from Suikoden 1 and, of course, Luca Blight from Suikoden 2 were at the head of their class.

And yeah...Sephiroth, just because it was nice to FINALLY get to fight the guy at the end (as compared to the chit-chat sessions leading up to the climax). Too bad he was such a wimp...

Okay, I'm about seven hours into Suikoden V and I'm already tempted to put Gizel Godwin here, continuing the successful run of great Suikoden villains. Extremely well written character with a penchant for elaborate schemes and not a moral in sight, not to mention he just LOOKS (and talks) like someone you want to punch out. Getting to his throat (hopefully) as a reward is only going to make playing the game better.
